This is a cheap sacrificial part, which was never designed to be repaired. It's undergone a work intensive repair job, which made the part immensely unsafe. Madness.
Seems as though this repair is pretty much as good as most aftermarket parts .i would run it, and i think these guys are pretty amazing .they live in a country where things are hard to come by and do the best they can .the USA is headed there so pay attention
If I count the work time, material and machines, then the repair of this joint must be at least 3 times more expensive than the highest quality brand of new part. Maybe it makes sense in developing countries, but in developed countries it is pure nonsense from every point of view - economic or safety.
Very good job of rebuilding it but would it be easier to Advanced Auto or AutoZone or O Riley Auto parts if that was done in the United States it would cost a lot of money to repair it 😂
Pressing the ball joint is for mad person. I experienced when i listened to my father for restoration. After pressing the wheel ball joint by shop mechanic the wheel became permanently unbalanced while i spent same amount as buying the new one. Due to lack of knowledge and first timer for my car i used to listen from others advice. Now my style is to get advice from different mechanics and applied the best one. For ball joint problem better buy new one like japan surplus 555 brand. The wheel will be in correct position after ball joint replacement. No need to spend for wheel allignment.
At least you haven't got to give him registration number or chassis number,on a serious note to machine it on an old manual lathe by manipulating hand wheels then file and emery cloth it won't last long but get the car going
@@aaroncostello8812yeah but you dont have to buy OEM stuff. Taiwan and Chinese parts are cheap and plentiful. They aren't great but they will still outlast these refurbished ones.
Check out his safety equipment. Work boots. Gloves. Glasses. All that for a $25.-$75. part. Plus At least one whole day of time to rebuild it. However he does nice work. Looks good. I think he’s done this before.
