@@seftonparkcctv4572 You’re too modest! The coverage is very good, great camera angles and nice quality image. I’m hundreds of miles away , and have no connection to the club, but now find myself rooting for Sefton and looking forward to the weekly match!
That young fast bowler Ayan looks very good, just needs to bowl at the stumps more and use the bouncers more as a surprise to batters 👍🏻 great video as always
Thanks James. Ayan does have a quality action imvo and don't forget I'm more likely to include bouncers whistling past batsmen's noses than blocks to a length ball. Maybe my editing is more of a problem than Ayan's bowling?
Hi Sam. Just looked at your channel. The standard of cricket on there deserves better facilities? (ie without a mobile mast on the 45!) I do love the idea of German cricket though.
@@seftonparkcctv4572 Hi mate. Thanks very much for having a look! The standard of cricket sort of varies every week, as some teams are lucky to have a few good players in their area, some unfortunately aren’t so lucky. I’d say we’re one of the lucky teams, to be honest. Although I agree the facilities across the country need improving. Most play on football fields, hence there’s actually 2 floodlights on our pitch!
I’ve enjoyed watching all your games from last year. I think the batting really let’s the team down. If you guys stick to the basics I think you would have won many more games. Good luck for this season. Looking forward to seeing more videos.
Hi Joe. Sorry for delay in replying. I have three budget cameras; two Panasonics and a Sony but most of the videos are shot with a Panasonic V380 (less than £300 when available) and I'm delighted by it's 1080p performance. It has an insane zoom and the sound isn't bad either. I'm replacing it though (if they ever become available) with a 770. People do come up and chat (which is nice) and mess the audio. The V380 doesn't have a mic jack. With the 770 I can get a Rode Go or equivalent and record the sound separately, which will make life far better.
Pretty obvious comment but at the level you guys are playing you need to get yourselves some decent batters. Bowling hit or miss. Enjoyed your videos though and you have a great ground.
Great to see the young Sterling showing some fighting spirit, at the end there. But I have to add that shot selection of the top order is really not up to Prem. League standards.
Both Raheem and Mark need to pitch it up. Bowling too short will allow the batsman to settle in and dominate. As a spinner you need to have the confidence and guts to float it up and let batsman take the risk. I felt the bowling today from Sefton Park was at best AVERAGE.
Exactly. I feel a bit sorry for the bowlers when I'm editing but showing a ton of good balls getting patted back to the bowler isn't great entertainment.
Hello Peter. The practise of clapping in batsman never faded out because it only ever existed on village green, cake and arse cricket. Why would you clap someone in? Because they put their pants on the right way round?
Hopefully tomorrow night: (24th). I'm just composing a list of fixtures and their anticipated uploading dates. I've got thirteen matches to edit and I'm in the Royal for a week from 7th October. I'm hoping to get all the games loaded by Christmas!
I was hoping someone in the know would answer this but I believe the advantages of a Victorian pavilion are aesthetic rather than practical. The home changies are small; the away ones are smaller and the shared showers split the two. The lone staircase adds to the potential congestion/covid risk. Plans for the future? I have no idea.
That was a good effort against a very good outfit by look of it. The slip catching was especially good from them as well as McKiernan's knock, though he looked out at 9.35 ish? I have loved watching Kemar bat, usually love listening to him bat too but think he needs a new one. All the best for next season. I'll certainly still be watching. Thanks for the effort you put in to these to keep all the fans entertained.
Thank you so much for bringing these high-quality games to us! The editing and video quality are unmatched and truly enjoyable to watch. Really appreciate being able to watch such a high level of cricket thanks to you.
