We are a Florida family who loves to travel, especially to Disney World! You will see many Disney World videos on our channel as well as videos from other locations we are blessed enough to visit! Upon making travel plans and checking out other youtube videos, we noticed there were not many videos of traveling families. We recognize that families traveling with children may have different priorities than travelers without little ones. We decided to share our journeys to provide everyone with information before they book their next vacation🌏. You may catch a child mumble an embarrassing phrase or statement here or there🤣 but that's part of the fun 🤪 We hope you enjoy our channel and when planning your vacation remember "yolo" and enjoy yourselves! #yolofamilytravels Please subscribe to our channel to be notified of all our new videos 🤩 Contact us via email at yolofamilytravels2021@gmail.com
My mom just got an invite for today. They said they would give free 7 days at any resort and $150 gift card I'm going with her but well see how it goes
@@yolofamilytravels so update we did get a free 7 days and a gift card and the offer we got was 8000 points every year for $12,900 they let us put it on hold and gave us 11,500 points and we paid 1750 towards it which now makes it 11,150 so maybe we will consider it
@@yolofamilytravels 7 nights at first we thought it was to low but really it depends on what you choose but then we searched up the Hilton resort from the pamphlet to see how much it would cost without the points and it was like $8,000
@aizenonfleek5590 oh ok sounds like it could be a good offer. It probably depends on the yearly fees also but you could recoup your costs within a few years.
I noticed there are TWO connecting doors. Did you hear any noise from the other rooms? I am a very light sleeper, so having even one connecting door is bad….two really worries me. Also, the two booking categories are Atrium Club Level and just Club Level. I was told if you book the plain old Club Level it is the Tower Club. Atrium is its own category. Is that not true??
Hi @suziq4565 thanks for watching! I was not bothered by noise and I am a light sleeper also. I also use a white noise app on my phone at any hotel/resort I stay in because slamming doors are inevitable. I don't usually hear people in adjoining rooms unless they are extremely loud (i.e. baby crying). I do often hear people in the hallways. As far as booking, when I was there I was told you will receive either tower club or atrium if you book a resort view room. I will try to ask again to make sure that is correct. That does make sense though because Atrium Club has resort view rooms, and currently, the only rooms designating Atrium Club are theme park view rooms (which is only half of the Atrium Club Level room inventory). Hope this helps!
Hi @spmarsh3747 thanks for the comment! Yes, my eyes are doing much better. I do need a much stronger prescription for up close, but the foggyness has resolved 🙌. I did not rent points for this visit. However, I have rented before from David's DVC rental, and it worked out perfectly 👌
Those deep bedroom cabinets are ideal for leaving fudge and other goodies then remembering them after you fly home 🤦🏻♂️ is what I tend to do. Thanks for the tour, nice room although that horse picture would be turned around for my stay 😂
Hi @@trishrubendall2204 thanks for watching! Yes! New Videos are coming soon from a 1 bedroom preferred villa at Saratoga Springs Resort, a Disney dining plan cost breakdown video, and a 1900 park fare dinner dining review. Two upcoming club level stays this summer include the Polynesian Resort and Wilderness Lodge Resort!
@@yolofamilytravels , exciting! I am still trying to convince my husband to go back. He is thinking next Nov/Dec. I just don't know if I can wait that long!
We just stayed at Tuscany last week we bought this same package we are planning to go to Hawaii it would be our second time there. But the first time doing a presentation. Is it easy to book your time when calling in booking the vip points ? Also we were planning to do a 3 and 4 split with enclave in Myrtle beach and Hawaii but it seems we would have a bunch of points left over so I’m thinking we will just use everything in Hawaii
It was very easy to book as long as you did it far in advance!! I wouldn't worry about the "point value" and just book what you want (as long as you have enough points).
We loved AKL! Our #1 favorite staff and food (2021). But agree being on the same level is definitely a priority with two under four. We loved GF (2023) but no lunch, I would skip. We were meh about the EPCOT resorts (Beach 2022 and Boardwalk 2023). Boardwalk would be rated higher but we had a terrible character greeting experience with our son with special needs (12/2023). We plan on staying at the Poly or Contemporary Club next!
Thanks so much for this video. Super helpful. Can I ask your opinion on something? I'm debating between staying at Boulder Creek with the Disney Dining package or Grand Floridian Deluxe Room Club Level. If both were a similar price, which would you pick? We've stayed GF before and it's my favorite but never stayed at BC. TIA!
Hi @nancygallub7441 I'm glad you found this helpful! If both were similar price, personally, I would do the deluxe room at GF. However, we don't normally bring a lot of groceries or need to do laundry. A full kitchen isn't necessary for us. I am currently at Saratoga Springs doing the dining plan and it is really nice using the DDP (I'll have a video coming up). Also, keep in mind, you will want to eat out some when you're club level so that will be an added expense that the dining plan would cover at Boulder. We've never stayed at Boulder either only Copper Creek (which was fine). The deluxe room at GF is VERY large and spacious. Also, depends on where you want to eat. If you want a lot of character meals, DDP is cost-effective. We just did 1900 park fare for dinner as 1 table service credit, and it would have cost us $170!! Hope this helps!
@@yolofamilytravelsthank you! This is great to hear since we had to switch to BC CL due to our dates. Also trying poly so I’m curious to hear whether your opinion is any different for poly CL after your next stay. Thank you so much!!! Your videos are so helpful!!!
Beach club is one of the weakest I have been too but I liked that they had little bottles of Perrier. Most do not have that. GF lounge was also a big bummer to me. I have heard that Coronado is the best lounge with the most extensive food selections. I have not done it.
Wellll they didn't have Perrier when I went late April. I agree with GF, just not worth the huge price tag. Coronado springs has a fantastic beverage cooler but the food wasn't that great IMO. The price tag however used to be awesome!! Like all the club levels though the prices have been increased 😞
Cassandra, is there any way you could go over the Magic Kingdom Resorts. We are hoping to plan another trip and would love your thoughts on the ones by monorail. We would be getting a regular or theme park room, but not club level if that helps. The less walking the better for my husband who has some medical issues. Thanks!
Hi Trish and thanks for watching! I was actually thinking about doing the MK area resorts so I'll make that a priority now. Our favorite monorail resort is the Grand Floridian. There can be a bit of walking there but it's so beautiful. The least walking one would likely be the Contemporary Resort. All the rooms (except the garden wing) are located in the main building.which is a convenient location, the elevators can get pretty busy but walking is minimal.
