The Investment Room is a student-led project supported by the School of Economics and Finance, Massey University, New Zealand.
For those looking to make the most of study in business related areas, the room offers courses from Bloomberg on their 3 inhouse terminals and online free of charge to students. Because Bloomberg is the industry standard for financial data, employers value these certificates on applicants’ CVs.
But the big push from the people in the room is to help all students achieve financial wellbeing by making informed decisions around investments, and so anyone is encouraged to pop in to chat about why they might want to start thinking about investments and how to get themselves set up!
Hi Professor, I wondered if I could directly download the blanket of companies that traded on LSE, but not manully select these companies one by one. Because if someone wants to analyze the companies listed on certain Stock exchange, selecting the companies manually is not realistic. Many thanks.
Hi, yes this is exactly what you can use the Excel add-in for! You can find the constituent lists for the index, then you copy paste all the tickers and insert where you select the company in the process described in the video.
