I was slotted to do a 15 hour endurance race there in April with WRL in a cup car. Team had to cancel they weren’t able to source enough spare parts. Looking forward to getting there for a race though. Some corners are wild there
Here's my(Paul's) fast lap. I was breaking into the 1:21's when I ran into a slower car at turn 10. Next year. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aH1vnxadPpQ.html
Cmon, nobody wants to see that!!!! I was getting checked out for black so I had to be on my best behavior!!! 😂😂 Thanks for the spectacular season Boss Hog!
Now I get it. Best lap was on the left. I saw the 2:12, the delta and then the 2:08 and thought wait a minute?? Then I watched it again and saw the best lap on the left and realized that's what was being compared for the delta. Nice lap. Nice car control. What was up with the slide in T5? That could have been bad. Was a nice correction!!
Ha ha. Yea the overlay data is a little confusing. I need to get that sorted. Thank you! As far as T5 goes I think I carried a couple mph more speed in than I typically did. If you watch my throttle you can see I lift mid corner and the back immediately let’s go. Rookie move… glad I got away with it unscathed.
I’m glad you enjoyed it!! I enjoy editing the videos almost as much as I enjoy driving! 😂 Always trying to make you feel like you’re there lol. This was a PCA event. Man what a great track!
Overall you look smooth and have a pretty good line nice driving. Try entering the bowl with a slightly higher speed at mid track and as you go with maintenance throttle then work it down to the curbing and apex. You can gain some time in that area. Also when heavy braking for the turn 7 left hander get deeper on the brakes don’t be afraid to use them
Great pointers!! Thank you!! I will keep them in mind next trip back. This was only my 3rd track day so I definitely have a lot to learn. Thank you for your comment. Enjoying your channel and your driving.
@TheRealBansheeBungee thanks for your concern... yes we did think of that actually, even tested it. With the 50' tow rope between the driver and the bungee cord even when stretched to its max it only comes within 40' of the boat. So not only did the 50 foot tow rope make it so we had enough water but also made sure the driver didnt die... lol
