Ivor Jacobs is a very nice chap.......... He sent me a bottle of wine down to his boiler house once because I got his oil fired heating system working and it was evening time...... It was very much appreciated Ivor. I was surprised when you left that beautiful house of yours Thank you.
I need some information on digital web press machines, used if possible.... Lreportero at aol.com. My name is Marvin Ramírez. I publish a tabloid newspaper in SF
Hello greetings i am writing from Cameroon have been following this machine for quite some time now because we intend investing in a quality digital press for our printing jobs. This is because we do have graphics arts jobs which normally do require high resolution images and fine finished. Our company which I manage the position of the Director requested me to recommend a good digital press. I am by this requesting details as of the machine's specs and a quotation. Here is my email : emantoban@gmail.com. Thanks for replying.
Happens on the one I use all the time. The paper is super thin and snaps easy. Ran a job just last night and the tabber would trip balls if I rand faster than 9,000-10,000 per hour. The twist belt doesn't always fold the tab over, almost all my tabbing jobs are for postal jobs so they have to be perfect.
Ricoh is the worst for customer service, we have 2 - C901 pro, and to try to get them out when you need service is like pulling teeth, don't believe the service contract saying they will contact you in a certain time, and be out in a certain time, all lies, they are the worst.
This printer has earned the distinction of being the worst printer I've ever had the displeasure of using. And I've used them all... Canon, Xerox, Konica etc. But not even Canons CLC Series beats this pile of useless engineering. If you're considering purchasing one of these, DON'T! You'd be better off throwing your hard earned money into a dumpster and setting it ablaze.
Please will some for the love of god post a how to print Clear Coat on these printers. The canon manuals are so out of date I think they reference illustrator CS1.
masterofpuppets1985 Hi, the KM is not equal to the Océ. There is a big difference in how the toner is fused to the paper. The Océ uses belts to fuse the toner called a CTF unit. I believe that the KM uses fuser rollers. Maybe a fuser roller and a pressure belt. Anyway, Océ has been taken over by Canon and Océ does not have a partnership anymore with KM.
Hahahah good one :))DA 231 Strato has a bad reputation among the operators. I cannot advocate for DA260 but I have seen DA270 even a 12 year old girl can run that machine 50 pieces per minute with only having 2 hour training. Also BDM universal of Horauf is nice but price/performance ratio makes Kolbus the best decision. Kolbus is a the leader in case making.
