To be clear ALL classes of rally car whether in Europe or here in America the cars MUST be street legal being working headlights, break lights, turn signals, and registered and licensed.
Great video with solid ideas/concepts. However, @2:43 we're told to "set up a race at Catalunya"? The only way I've found to do this is from the Solo->Grand Prix menu and I don't see me or my teammate. Not sure if this vid is still monitored but sure would like some help. The race set up seemed to be a bit glossed over as if I was supposed to know what I was doing... which I don't <sigh>....
Good video Michael bringed discipline and new standard to Ferrari and formula 1 Mattia Binotto said "normaly when we do a test session the track open at 9 am. We arrived at 8: 20 or 8: 30 and the driver at 9 and then we do the metting. When Michael did his first test he was there at 8 am waiting for us and said " guys what are you doing? The session start at 9 am so at 8 am we do the metting to get ready to go on track at 9!" So since then we do things that way and every day he was the first to arrive." Jean Alesi said "Michael was excessive in work. When free practice session was other, i go to the pool and Gerhard to the coco beach and Michael was going to train and we laughed at him. And because he won, team manager telled us "you laughed at him but when you are at the coco beach or the swimming pool he run, he rides a bike, he do fitness and get results." So WE where obliged to work and train more." He was really a hard worker but he also had this capacity to federate a team around him and make the team work harder. For exemple Jock clear a friend of Jacques Villeneuve didn't want to work with him at first in Mercedes but then become his race engineer and says it was a pleasur to work with him and he was never frustrated at all and Always pointing the team in the right direction. You have a documentary really interesting on youtube. It's on Ferrari and Michael working on the F 2005. The title is "La Scuderia Ferrari : Les coulisses d'un défi - Documentaire" and you can see how they worked at the time. If the FIA haven't do everything to break his domination (bring back traction control, limitation of test, New tyre rules,...) he would have probably won more championchip
What is a "titan"? What are the numbers he is reading off like 60, 80, 100 etc.. The screen captures were helpful. Your other videos are voiced why not this one?
@@BakrWeasly Saturday is usually the day with the most stages, and most of the points are given out on Saturday now. Sunday gets its own pool of points and has the Power Stage, but usually the overall rally order is set (other than a late incident)
Nice video but you got steering linearity wrong, the lower the value, the more sensitive the joystick is, so 3 is more sensitive than 4. Great content my man
This video seriously helped me. I just got the game yesterday, and was struggeling a lot. Of course I went for a too fast car to begin with, I think I jumped into the Sierro Cosworth first. That was a misstake i quickly realised. After watching this video I tried my hand on some rallycross in the Corsa 1600, and had quite a bit of fun. After that I got a Fiesta R2 or whatever it's called and tried rally again, and it was like a compleatly different game. So much fun! So thank you!
I know this is a 4 year old video, but the advice still stands. I've played in VR for almost 4 years now and just watched this video. I don't have the best wheel, pedals or h-pattern out there. PJ if you're still around to see this message, give my channel a peep. I'd love to hear some advice on how to improve. I record myself live with inputs too. Just want some pointers on left foot braking when using a clutch.
Who slows down on the racing line in the pouring rain? Especially after being lapped and not allowing the leader to go through for half a lap? Mclaren team not radioing Coulthard or something else?
How the winner is decided , we don't see much of any overtakes and whi come first , in rally , si each car will start at different intervals ? Is the winner based on time taken for completing the distance ?
The winner is the driver who does all of the stages in the shortest combined time. They set off at 3 minute intervals so that they don't block each other on the road.
Coming from Dirt 3 on Xbox360 with the Thrustmaster 458 (small rotation, no ffb) to Dirt Rally 2.0 on PC with FFB wheel 900 rotation, it was a steep STEEP new learning curve. I was quite alright (always offline tho) but man did I get my butt humbled. This video helps a lot, thanks
The Dark Souls games are hard, but this is like a whole different level. Souls games are all about pattern recognition and this game is really tough with timing.
Biggest issue of wrc is accessibility. RallyTV cost 2 times as much as a F1 TV subscription and typical sports channel don't have it. There only is really short highligts and very select onboards accessible on youtube
Sometimes @EASPORTSWRC run code promotions for playing the game, I know a lot of players who watched the first 3 months of this season that way. Should help a little so keep an eye out for when those come up.
@@PJTierney I got the game last week because of the VR update. Amazing when it does not crash but it is EA after all haha. Did not get a code for RallyTV though unfortunately. I am relying on the RedBull highlights so far.
FIrst game today. Ehh I like Focus. How bad can it be? Crashed in to audience 3 times. Took a drive thru the woods 4 times. Lost the hood after ~4 km Lost first tire after ~7 km(Front left) Lost second tire after ~11 km(Back right) Engine light flashing for maby 9 km. Came to the finish line in a hunk of junk XD Ill start with the lancia.
This shit is hard as a mf man I only have about 20 hours on a racing wheel clutch h shifter setup got kinda used to assestto corsa but damn is this different
quick tip for controller: if you're playing on completely default steering settings (like me), try not to flick the joystick to make small inputs on fast corners. It'll make your thumb tired and it'll be hard to manage the car that way. Practice smooth inputs with controller and your driving will feel better
