He gave me a pen . Here give is a ditranatiive verb . If i write, He gave a pen to me. Then, is it also di transive verb? Does " me" is an indirect object of the verb ? Or "me" gonna be an object of a preposition? One website says that, its an obj of a preposition but one of my teachers says thats its a indirect obj.
HOW MY HUSBAND GOT CURED FROM Amyotrophic lateral Sclerosis ALS. I lost my Dad to ALS 5 years ago, he suffered from the dreaded disease for 6 years with his doctor telling us he can’t be cured and all the therapies and life support machines could not save him and 3 years later my husband was also diagnosed of the same disease and I was devastated he fainted when the doctor read the diagnosis because he knew how deadly the disease is. His condition worsened and he was unable to move and he was confined to the chair the direction the disease has taken with his body is the gradual deterioration of the “Bulgar muscle,” which controls breathing, swallowing, voice, and tongue movement. His neck muscles have weakened to the point that he can’t hold his head up and the left side of his body is weaker than the right , the doctors told me all his muscles were dead, he was able to eat via a machine because he could not swallow anything. I searched and tried different neurologists and different medicines none worked and I was so scared to lose my husband. While running up and down seeking a solution I met my friend from third grade and saw me all worked up, we got talking and in the process of discussion I told him all I am facing. He felt sad and told me about Dr. Sani who was able to cure his cousin. I was interested and he gave me his contact. I contacted him and he sent me his medicine and in a space of 4 weeks he was up on his feet again and in 6 week he recovered fully. He can do normal things like walking, eating, without any assistance whatsoever. I am so amazed at the potency and effectiveness of his medicine. I decided to share my story for you not to lose hope or feel your world has ended. Simply contact him by Email: perfectherbalcure@gmail.com OR WhatsApp / call +2348118184266
What nonsense is in this song. I understand that Judith DeWitt is an historian and I do not blame here for this song. . Big Jim Folsom married the girl and had around 9 children's. This song tries tic detract a a progressive and kind governor. The Folsom''s are great. Big Jim was the first governor to give free textbooks to school childfree.. So many are just racists and Big Jim and his son never was. i was an economist in the state capitol in Montgomery. Politicians who were rivals of Folsom were mostly hateful people. Jim Folsom Jr was also a good governor.
what mistakes did she make? usually when I watch these kinds of videos I think they're saying something wrong, when in fact they're just saying it a different way.
Hi I’m planning on attending Agnes Scott fall 2019 and I was curious about the campus. Could you possibly do updates of the tours of the residence halls, library, etc please?
Besides what the prof said, there are about four things going on with this. (1) French verbs may have invisible prepositions built-in, like she says with chercher, where you do not use a preposition in French, even though you use it in English. The English preposition is built into the French verb's meaning: chercher = "to look for, to search for"; (2) English verbs can also have prepositions built-in where French uses one preposition, or one of several. (3) French may use a different preposition than English, with a given verb. Often this is de or à or en or pour or par, but because French has different prepositions with different meanings and origins, and the two languages look at the world slightly differently, you get a different set of words sometimes. French occasionally uses a different preposition than Spanish, also, even though they are closely related. (4) English also may use a different preposition (or one of several) than what French expects to have there. Basically, you have to remember that both English and French have verbs that are associated with a few prepositions to give the full meaning of what is going on. Each of these can give a different basic meaning, or at least a slightly different flavor, to what you are trying to say. Yes, it can be tricky when you're not a native speaker. You have to remember to get past that tendency to think in your native language and to think directly in the new language as much as you can. You have to try to get past that tendency to think that, because your native language does things a certain way (like which preposition to use) that does not mean the other language or all languages do it that way. This can be hard to get past. (Yes, to me as a non-native French speaker, French does some odd things with prepositions that I don't expect at times.) Another thing to remember is that, just like in English, sometimes you might be able to use one preposition or the other, about equally well, but there is usually a subtle difference or a difference in context. Then sometimes either one might be equally OK, or at least understandable, to a native speaker. English sometimes allows us to choose between two or three prepositions that mean about the same thing with a verb. Also, English is a little odd, in that we sometimes "stack" prepositions or string them together, in order to add a special nuance; ("We're going out to the ballgame." "The cat is up in a tree.") -- things like that. -- Basically, remember that the language you're learning looks at the world in a slightly different way, and so it uses its helper words differently than your own language. Sometimes, it makes very basic distinctions that your language does not. Other times, it may not make a distinction where your own language does that all the time. It's just the difference between the two. But that makes it interesting and fun to learn about, even if it makes it hard to be sure sometimes which things go with what. ;)
