My dad owned one of these in the 70’s I used to take it out for a ride when he was down the pub! He’d have killed me if he ever found out! I was only 15 years old! Happy memories!
Was caught on your vid when sidecars was lining up,was at cross four ways on Thursday,cracking days racing,action packed at yhe corner,always go to the southern 100,best set of races on the calendar I think,great footage top man

I remember when he 1st started at the TT, still a teenager & riding so hard we thought the wheels would fall off. Utterly fearless, in wet or dry. Different these days, still indecently fast but so smooth now. Unbeatable on his day on decent machinery visor included! Even these days he's marmite - some can't forget his 'arrogance' (shall we say 'confidence') some years ago. Me I think he earnt that & everything he has 'from the saddle' - the genuine 'big cohones' article.
