Hey lovely I don’t know the history between Yorkshire & Scotland but I know a few of my friends have said to me before “why are you saying that word, it’s only in Yorkshire we say that” and I thought we all used the words but menopause brain fog isn’t allowing me to remember what they are 🙈 also if you lived Still Game try 2 Doors Down as well although I think that might only be BBC Scotland. Hi Beck, yes, we enjoyed Still Game-can’t stand Two Doors Down, it reminds me of that God-awful Mrs Brown’s Boys. I find every single one of the characters wildly irritating, I think it’s really amateurish. And yes to the medal man on Antiques Roadshow, he’s fabulous, can’t abide the glass man though!x
Not sure we'll return to Two Doors Down, it really is over the top and "look at me, I'm acting". I know what you mean about the Glass Man, yes! - the medal man makes my heart swell with the respect he has and he shows such emotion. x

My other half is Obsessed with Still Game. He's from Plymouth, I'm from Edinburgh and we live in the West Midlands. When we went up to Edinburgh last September he dragged me along to a show which was basically the main cast members talking about the show and an audience Q&A at the end. I hadn't a clue what was going on. Some of the audience were dressed as characters???? Scott loved it! I won't get that time back, will I?! Xx

Love your makeup choices Bec. I’m still using the Summer Fridays sunscreen you introduced me to…my fourth bottle. Micheal Keaton does have a beautiful mouth/lower face. I’ve always been a young Kurt Russell fan…looks and personality. I too love Craig Cash and Peter Kay…that scene on the stairlift “just you wait, the things I’m gonna do to you”. 😅 (never gets old). Max and Paddy in jail scenes are gold. I read his autobiography recently, and he’s just such a naturally funny man. I find it hard not to love everything Alan Partridge…such a knob, but somehow I feel sorry for him and he has my sympathy! Apparently a bit obnoxious in real life, but I will forgive him that too because all of the joy and laughter he has gifted the world.
Glad the Summer Fridays is working well for you, it is a great sunscreen. Yes, the stairlift! -great comedy never stops giving. Kurt Russel, he always comes across as relaxed and doesn't take himself seriously. Love Max and Paddy, the out-takes are fantastic. I can't abide Steve Coogen, although the roadtrip series he did with Rob Brydan was funny. The man always comes across as full of himself. Bit like Jimmy Carr, he makes my skin crawl, theres an edge to him that I distrust. Now I've savaged a few folk I'll be off, lol x hugs lovely x
Michael Keaton is my Batman too 😍 but I never got into Dr Who so I don’t know anyone 🙈 I think Gary Barlow has aged well and I think I told you before I liked Matthew Macfayden but only as Mr Darcy ☺️ I definitely crush on characters rather than the actor….not sure what that says about me 🫣 I didn’t realise people were being taken down for talking about dupes - that is crazy, you really do have to be careful when talking about ‘mars’ dupes 😂 lovely to see you as always ♥️ xxx
Mr. Darcy, I totally understand the character 'thing', it makes perfect sense. My friend adores Gary Barlow, she brought her son up to tell people that Gary was his dad. I must add, she's happily married and her hubby found it hilarious when their son would tell people. The dupe thing is ridiculous, it's becoming so restrictive across social media now - daft! I’m glad you know what your issue is now Becks, I hope you’re doing ok with it. I love my Naked palette, I need to use it more - I bring it on holiday with me because it’s got some nice options but don’t tend to wear eyeshadow most make-up days. I need to get back to using that primer because my lashes just don’t seem as great as they were before - I need them to look as fabulous as yours 😊 xxx

I agree, someone who can make you laugh does go a long way. It’s great that you both don’t sweat the small stuff. The L'oreal Glotion is very different to the CT and ELF, less champagne tone in the one I chose and subtle glow, less glowy, if that makes sense. I'll film something, it's easier to show you my lovely x
My husband gets away with loads, because he makes me laugh, and also because he is so kind to animals. If we go anywhere, and I’ve made an effort, I’ll say Ta da!! What do you think? And without fail he will answer “are you comfortable”? That’s his only concern! My friend in work and I had a conversation a few years ago about secret celebrity crushes-hers was Phillip Schofield and mine was Huw Edwards. Yeah, that didn’t pan out too well.........very much enjoyed the video, thanks Beck xx

Stephen Merchant! I know. But he makes me snort laugh, and that’s very attractive. Yes, I detest it when people decide which type of birds are less worthy than others-I have such a soft spot for pigeons, seagulls and crows-I feed a particular crow (Frank) every day in work, he’s lovely and appreciates a share of my sandwich! Hey Becks 🤗 I love Astral cream, definitely takes me back to my childhood 😊 I think people comment on weight without even thinking 🙈 I’m glad you are feeling better, I wish I had your will power because I need to give up all those things you have to be healthier too. My hormones are at that stage where they are changing and it’s left me feeling unwell a lot of the time over the past few weeks (I’m pretty sure it’s that) so it’s made me think I’m sure changing my diet might help a bit even if I do need to look at other treatments I might need. I agree re that lipstick, it’s definitely pink. What would you say is the best dupe for that CT Hollywood flawless filter? 🩷 xxx
Great to see you back on You Tube. Really enjoyed your chatty video. Sadly there is always a price to pay for losing weight over a certain age. I lost 1.5 stone during lock down. My bum disappeared and my boobs dropped. But health must be a priority otherwise life becomes miserable. You look lovely and your skin is amazing. A great ambassador for Astral. I believe Joanna Lumley is a big fan!

Hey Becks 🤗 it’s really weird because as much as I watch long videos on RU-vid I am not the biggest fan of long videos on TikTok…. I think it’s because TikTok is where I go to watch short form and scroll, so when I come to longer videos they’re too long even though at the same time I can switch back to YouYube and watch a long one….does that make any sense 🫣 I think mentally I am just used to watching long form videos here 😊 I have not seen that technique of applying make-up so I am definitely going to give that a try. I also stopped using that lash primer, you’ve made me want to re-start now 😊 I’ve seen the eyeshadow called Drip Drip by that Made by Mitchell which I was very tempted to jump on the bandwagon and buy but I resisted. The blushers sound and look amazing. Lovely to see you back here and sorry to hear about Craig and your health issues, I really do hope they can get to the bottom of things for you.
