I have 2 concepts (racing and normal) racing: 1.1 is catch and release and 1.2 is cross cross salmon ladder, 1.3 is a redesigned wave runner with a bigger jump and dismount because of mistakes that could be made while rushing, 1.4 would be balance with bridge jump from sasuke becuase it could really cause a shocker, 1.5 would be a bigger scale duck duck goose because another tricky obstacle, final obstacle would be falling shelves but replace the 2nd one with a blind grab to make it much harder
My redesign of stage 1: stage one will have archer steps as 1.1 then propeller bar as 1.2 and double dipper, jumping spider but we need a new 1.5 so a idea I had was surf slider (the 1.1 for season 13+) plus a jump to a rope, warped wall and add a new balance obstacle which will be diamond dash and then bring back twist and fly
Disagree with gambler being so high. It'a a contrived disorganized hot mess that contributes to anw's casino theme which has always rubbed me the wrong way.
@@DiscoDom192S4 in general is the most underrated Stage 2 ever. Perfect time limit, difficulty, and Unstable Bridge, Balance Tank, and Metal Spin were arguably harder than the Sasuke version. Sucks how it was butchered in S5

I don’t understand the hate for the Giant Swing. My least faves would be the new hot mess ones (Dipping Birds, the final obstacle with the cane hop, the Vegas-themed one). Just unnecessary and ugly. The Giant Swing was elegant and took a decent number out.
Epic Air Surfer was rigged in S15 because the red side was a lot more slippery than the blue side. Kaden, Enzo and Josiah lost because of it. Also the Wingnut Alley was too tough for Stage 2 imo. Maybe it could've been in Stage 3 or with less wingnuts.
I’m sorry to say this (and obviously I’m glad you like something I don’t) but I can’t stand this obstacle because it is so buggy and annoying and nonsensical and awkward and so many of its fails weren’t fair. I’m sorry but I just don’t understand how someone could like this outside of its fail rate. (and even then most of the fails weren’t fair)

Still thankful the membership for what it is. Only thing I don't like is no DVD content, which a fair amount is out there as we know. Doubt it'll ever get updated. Also, uploading the True Life of Tom Meents was possible, but not Madusa's. That apparently doesn't make sense to me. It'll be nice if the True Life of Madusa was fully uploaded someday

I’ve found that even some episodes are missing, with Atlanta 2010 being the big one. I think there’s a missing Inside Monster Jam from 2006 or so. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the echoey audio from 2003-2006, as that’s probably my biggest problem with the episodes. Of course. It’d be nice if I could grab different audio and video sources from fellow fans to “restore” the episodes, but of course time and contacts/resources are something I don’t have. Hopefully they’ll decide to care a little more in the future.
@@peanutbutterjeff5364 I didn’t mention the 03-06 audio because the old sources I watched those on were pretty similar, though looking at them again I do think they’re even worse. And when you stop and think there’s no reason they couldn’t freshen them up a little. At least Atlanta 2010 is still on RU-vid
Agree with everything you said here, I also wish they would give us episodes from the 80’s and 90’s, maybe we could finally see the 1994 Monster Wars season, and also put up the few missing episodes from 2019-2021 even though, like you, I think the sport began declining after 2014, I still want to watch later episodes to see how it changed to what it is now, and also how about the European airings and some other non-televised shows

I’ve said this to a couple of friends when talking about old Nintendo games and emulation. It’s the same with the monster jam membership and stuff like the way back machine. If there are better, free alternatives to watching/playing older things, people are going to take that chance. I’m never going to pay for the membership, because if they’re fucking up what I want to watch, then I won’t watch it (talking specifically for shows from the 2000s to 2014, since that’s where the audio issues are most apparent.) and I’ll find some better alternative. (Also I just don’t like giving my money to dumbasses in suits in a meeting room)

Even though I think Cane Lane is better, there should be a standard of not replacing an obstacle until its beaten at least once in the regular season. Unless its like Angry Birds where it probably should be tweaked, keep it in.
@@Nimmy_Jeutron_ I think Cane Lane is slightly better, specifically the version where you have to jump to the final rung, S11 specifically. Also, I think Season 9 has arguably the best back half of all time. Curved Body Prop into Peg Cloud into Time Bomb, then Flying Bar

This is Sandra's son Dylan, and here's my top 3 3. Cane Lane/Curved Body Prop (TIE), Cane Lane was very tough, it should've stayed longer. Curved Body Prop gives a big test on your muscles, even though everybody got passed it, it was still very hard. 2. Flying Bar, it has to be, it was the final obstacle of Stage 3 for a long time, it took out several competitors, even though pretty much everybody got passed this obstacle on later seasons. 1. Ultimate Cliffhanger, it's easier than it used to be, but how would it not be at #1.
@@sandrahackworth2559 thanks for the list Dylan, I’m glad to see people agree that Cane Lane and Curved Body Prop were really good and should have become staples on the course. Only reason people did so good on flying bar in S13-S14 is because the rest of the course was not up to par.
It’s a shame that this truck and Steve Sims don’t get invited to the World Finals anymore he always put on a good freestyle, I could’ve seen him winning a world championship eventually
Great video! The reason why Jawbreakers weren’t much of a ninja killer is because that obstacle has been around in advanced and pro level ninja comps outside of the show for a couple years now but under a different name called “Bear Trap”. The experience which that gave ninjas along with the fact that the show version appears easier than the versions usually seen in other ninja comps made it a less effective slot 3 but otherwise it could have been way more deadly.
@@Nimmy_Jeutron_ Yeah that would be interesting. On one hand I think it would be good for them to use this year’s buffed version but depending on how fast they want people to go in their head to head races I could see them also keeping it easier but we’ll see what happens
Honestly, floating monkey bars could work really well on stage 3 as an early slot obstacle I think, and obstacle you have to go directly into from a slot one. Use the season 11 version, so there are differing heights, and you have to go for a far dismount,

@@WasowskiSings Exactly. I like Patriot Pass and Stalactites, but they've gotten so easy to speedrun, you hardly spend any time on them. most are at Ultimate Cliffhanger in like 30 seconds. And get rid of Slam Dunk, its garbo.
