From my kindergarten year up until either my second or third grade year we had a gym teacher where if the kids were being too loud we were denied water drinking privileges for the remainder of that class (and given that the only time you were allowed to drink water was at the end of class if we lost drinking privileges we don’t get to drink any water at all) and that loss of privileges would apply to everyone in the class, not just the kids misbehaving and he would do this to any class doesn’t matter if it’s a kindergarten class or a sixth grade class if you’re too loud the entire class loses drinking privileges. What’s worse is if any of the kids told their parents about this and the parents confront the gym teacher about it he’ll basically just say the kid is lying and that they did get a drink (I know about that because my brother who has a heart condition told my dad that he didn’t get a drink and the gym teacher essentially said that he was lying) and if any of the teachers were told this teacher just use the excuse that they’re the gym teacher’s rules and you have to follow them.
