Of all the bands of this general era and style they were always one of my favorites. They could actually play well live, didn’t take themselves too seriously, had some groove to them…just awesome. First heard them on the split 7 with Discordance Axis and wore that thing out btw the two ripping bands.
I saw them at the same place maybe a year later. Saw a bunch of shows there. Missed Dillinger though that was a big one. Pretty sure Misery Index played a show here that they videotaped and I was in the pit. Saw Sunn O ))) too.
Shame I never had the chance to see them live, as I discovered them way after they split, in like 2004. Found out they were semi-local from Claremont (I grew up in Cucamonga, like 20 minutes away). Would've been sick seeing them play.
Fun fact: a fledgling Weekend Nachos were taken under In Disgust’s wing when they first came to San Jose and watch the show with them and their heroes Godstomper in 2005 😊
