I FEEL YOU!!! Honestly, I've been having a hard time going back to my creative process, like my creativity just paused. Yes, I edit videos, but it felt as if I just do it technically, like I was not as creative as creating stories before. It was a long process for me, before, I asked myself why my friends and all of the people around me is gone, and all of the creatives I know is starting to move up and I was left in the bottom. Then, I suddenly find happiness being alone, doing things slowly, enjoying silent hours. Not too fast pace, I learned how to appreciate every moment. Then I find my joy.
@@shua_films Yes don’t come July-August there is only tourist and all Parisian are in vacation … and thousands of them more, let me know if you need any info! Funny you ask me for tips because I’m realizing I’m not going in the direction i want with the concept “life in paris vlogs”, because is focusing on the city and i don’t want to be trapped lol
Recently watched a chat between Ali Abdaal and HealthyGamerGG you may also find helpful. The topic being how ego ties our self worth to comparison, status, etc. I found it liberating to be less considerate of hypothetical expectations, etc. Might be your thing, too
Wow. Congrats on going from 1 to 16k subs!! I'm so glad I found you. Came for the message, stayed 'cuz I recognized Chicago, glad I came for the message when it closed, even more. Thanks for the encouragement, man. Also want to say your color grading is already beautiful, but I'm here for you learning even more, as I try to learn more and more about making my films, as well :)
whatever you want to learn is what we want to know too! we are here to watch you not for you to let us decide how you run this channel. continue growing and learning as we watch you!
Digging the multiple videos man. Hope your well of inspiration never runs dry. I myself am trying to grow my channel. Close to monetization but not yet. Rock on man!
This is wild cause I JUST discovered Gawx literally last week, and I also just bought a slider last night cause of that same reason😂 I was looking up if it’s worth it and I see this video today. The world is such an interesting place.
He truly achieved the art of discomfort. It must be the fact that he talks about enjoying the journey of it all instead of presenting a list of to-dos. And it's also an incredibly well-made video.
The 80s-2000s just fostered expressions and creativity, just the desire to make something that was different. Who knows what this reintroduction will do for the next decade 🤷🏾♂️
The irony of course is that "digital" allows 99.99% of photos, videos, and art in general to be shared and consumed today, including this video and short film, and the analog (but now digital) photos shown at the end😅 I think analog is nice for the creator, for the tactile feeling of creation, which is nice if you're starting to feel like the stuff you make isn't feeling tangible enough in a digital age. I think that's why some people are drifting back toward analog: because it *feels*, tangibly, like it matters.
