Hey my name is Sascha Rebbe and I am a guitarist from Germany. My channel is all about gear demos, tutorials and everything guitar related. Follow me on Instagram for some additional content ;)
Very clean, thank you for posting this, you just got subbed. I play drums since 1969...I am Billy Powells nephew. He was a pianist in the band LYNYRD SKYNYRD. But I love many genres of music but rock it no. 1...😎 😎
Man what a tone! That's as much LP as you can get IMO. The guitar seems top notch as well as your playing, Sascha! 👍 Always a pleasure. And the headstock? I don't give a f**k as long as it plays killer, is well made and doesn't impair tuning stability. Not into the relic thing, though, good that tou can get them without it.
Your channel is quickly becoming one of my most favorites on YT lately. You sure know how to make a review, Sascha! And those beautiful crunch and edge of breakup tones definitely are up my alley! That's what I love most about the LP - Marshall type combination. Even the high gain sounds are very musical and old-school sounding 👏 The guitar definitely sounds very good, but not quite as good as the Heritage you did last time 😎 Btw how does it compare to the older '59 with BBs in your opinion?
I recently switched out the stock saddles on my HB TE62 with Wilkinson compensated brass saddles and I noticed right away that the hum I was getting with the original saddles had decreased tremendously and guitar sounds clearer. Why would that be do you think?
Awesome tone !!! The Powerage album is still my favorite after all these years… are you using that nux plexi pedal on this ? That tone is just buttery and mean !!! 😎🤓
I love Kiss and love this song! You truly got that guitar tuned rightly to get their sound! Killling the solo too!!!¡ Made my morning! Thank you!!! ❤🎸😊👌🏻
When it first came out I wasnt too keen on the idea of an expensive Epiphone, but then I realised that as long as you are not bothered by the Epiphone name on the headstock then you are getting a Gibson LP cheap just with the Epiphone name on it.
I can honestly say I do not hear a discernable difference between the stock and the mods. Do I think the mods represent an improvement? Yes... but it is mostly a mental thing much like the placebo effect. I think if you were to A/B this guitar with 20 people in a blind setting, about half would go one way and the other half would like the other. All that being said, I do think the mods are worthwhile because of that placebo effect. The knowledge that you have something you think is far superior is actually a big deal. Look at how many swear by spending silly money on a Gibson when we all know it is not logical.
