1. the curve that you obtain does not match observational data 2. photons of light don't travel only toward one single astronomical object. They approach (blueshift) and leave (redshift) the gravitational field of the asronomical objects along the path (mostly galaxies). This two effects apparently counterbalance each other. Unless you can prove otherwise.

there are 2 parts to redshift, doppler and gravity. Gravity is the static portion
