love this video!! u really helped me with starting my digital journal 🫶🏽💓 i’m hoping that ur gonna post sometime again and share more digital journal ideas/tutorials:)
Genshin cutscenes are easily better. Look at battle cutscene between Cyno and Alhaitham, Cyno and Sethos, Clorinde and the meks. It's way faster paced.
Comparing early game cutscenes thooooo 👀👀👀 Genshin def is better later on but early game Genshin vs WW early game cutscenes are way more captivating to me!
I respect you and I will not invalidate your pretty mens OR ask you to become unloyal to them… but, the Sephiroth twin in WW????? I stand on my claim. WW wins with that one character alone 😂😂😂😂
To be fair, I asked Hoyoverse directly about the change character while gliding back in 2022. It turns out that its a combat balancing feature in order to avoid exploits of doing clever combo attacks simply by changing character when putting them into a glide. That method apparently would have been exploited heavily and break the combat meta. Like just imagine having a jumping character like Xiao or Kazuha, and jumping high enough to glide and change characters into a plunge specialized character, it would make so many characters irrelevant and the meta would be next to impossible to change. Its a massive exploit, especially when anemo characters have a traversal advantage then switch to someone like Hutao for a plunge attack. The closest you can get would be Chiori.
Speaking about the early game content! I prefer the level of intensity the first hours of WW had vs Genshins even though the early game Genshin has such a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere and will always have a special place in my heart ❤️
Both games have their own problems and frankly they shouldn't be compared to each other as "superior" games. That being said, WuWa is a breath of fresh air after Genshin being a monopoly of its genre so that's mainly the reason why it has so many genshin players on it.
Imma be comlletely transparent here. Most ofbthis os simply untrue. The first one is no doubt but the rest can be debated on. I prefer wuwa because it doeant manhandle youninto hours of story for no reason but genshin has better animations for now, better male characters( kinda), and their cutscenes have more value then anything in the wuwa story, granted wuwa isnt popular for its story anyway. Skip button is top teir though
The game just game out. Content is next to non-existent given how I’m basically already at end-game for this version by Friday night. Wuv Wuv is going to eventually have a massive plot line like what genshin has, so you might wanna get used to it. Its a gacha RPG, lots of world building will be needed to make the world feel alive, otherwise you’d just have minecraft where its massive open world, but no story.
Okay, the only thing I will not fold on is that Wuthering Waves has a twin Sephiroth… A TWIN SEPHIROTH!!!! My statement stands, male characters better 😂😂
Reason why genshin hasn’t done it is because their voice actors are top quality and it’s would be a waste of resources if players just skip it. So much context is in the dialog and lots of things wouldn’t make sense without it. Just imagine if you skipped the entire Focalor conversation sequence, and you just miss the entire context that there were two halves of the hydro archon. Get cheap voice actors, then you can skip dialog. Also, if you want changes. Actually do the surveys each month. I am the contributing majority of the survey that specifically ask for lots of dialog. It seems the lore heavy players outnumber the skip-dialog players up till now.
@@robster7787I don’t skip the voice acted animated cutscenes! Just the little side quests with no voice acting, like where the old guy asks you to take pictures of 3 cats but for some reason talks too much 🤣
I must say, they both have such interesting pros and cons... Wuthering has more complex combat that requires a lot of practice and good reaction times to get good at, well Genshin's is simpler but feels more... impactful, especially with elemental reactions and those big damage numbers. Wuthering wins in movement, but definitely loses in concise skill descriptions. Additionally (at least as early as I am in the game): team building doesn't feel really impactful in Wuthering, because there aren't really good supports, and it feels like *everyone* is a DPS unless they're a healer (and even then...).
I agree with the team building not feeling impactful!!!!!!! I love Genshin’s elemental mechanics and how you can visibly SEE the elements work with and against each other! Fire tornado. Very satisfying 😌 I honestly haven’t noticed that in WW. But, the dodging, parrying (even timing with specific characters) is tactical and makes me more intentional with combat which I enjoy!
I should clarify, captivating because the cutscenes in the first couple hours of Wuthering waves are a lot more intriguing than the first hours of Genshin! But I know Genshin has improved later on in game since the very beginning content! 😊 AND the beginning content of Genshin is just so nostalgic and cozy it has a special place in my heart ❤
Yessssssss 😔 that’s on my cons list. I have a pretty good PC so it can be a bit distracting. I know they are still working on those things so I’ll be patient but it does hurt a little since I’m so spoiled with how smooth Genshin runs on my PC I get a lag spike every time I pick up an item for some reason. Does that happen to anyone else?
I agree!! I do suggest you log in even just for 5 mins a day so you can get all the free wishes they’re giving out for compensations/thank yous 👀 so that if you decide to play in the future, you’ll have a bunch of pulls! I’ve already gotten like 30 free pulls from the mailbox!
I actually play 3 gatcha games rn being Honkai, Solo leveling, and now Waves. What I do is play Waves on my computer, do Honkai dailes on my phone while also watching anime. Then I watch a movie while doing my solo leveling dailies.
Wuwa is good gameplay wise but the style is too much like tof and i guess i just dont like the environmental style theyre going with I guess something about the futuristic style just doesnt vibe with me
I LOVE Genshin and I’m really enjoying Wuthering Waves! I can see myself playing both as they feel different enough for me! Just highlighting some of the positives of strengths of Wuthering Waves in this video 😊
The story is a little dry but I’m giving them a pass because it’s the start and they’re world building. World building has never really been my favorite and can be a hit or miss for me when it comes to games. I’m about halfway through (I think) the main story so maybe there’s more exciting points coming.
i got that same headset!! it work so good i love the fact that its a really good headset & it really last a very long time!! my gaming setup coming soon!!
Blessings Sister, I would love to see more of your videos like this! Even if it's just once a month. Was able to watch your video while I sat down to read my current Christian non-fiction read. Would love to see more of your faith content.
It's me just now realizing that there were stickers in the headphones box because of this video! I've gotten two pairs of these headphones (my dog chew up my first pair recently but I originally got it about two years ago and I'm currently using my second pair) and I still had the box for the most recent one. I was watching her pull out the stickers like, I didn't get those. Go and check the box and the sticks are sitting right there, under the manual that I did not touch. Lol IDK what im gonna do with the stickers but at least i have them, right?
