How much less work must the Motor do if the Weight actually pushes the liquid down? Meaning the Motor must just pump the liquid in/above the cylinder plate ? Do you know how to calculate the Power of this application?

Would you need another guage after the pressure relief valve to measure fluid pressure? Or is the fluid pressure measured on the gauge before the pressure relief valve enough to measure fluid pressure after relief valve?
