Pig face has one flaw, cattle love to eat it. We had some on a slope as ground cover and it looked stunning. One day I let a couple of cows in that small paddock as the grass was ankle deep and the cows were looking a bit skinny. They ignored the grass and stripped the slope bare of pigface!
Great video! We're looking for natives for our new garden in WA's Southwest. I love your favourite shrub. The colours are divine! All the shrubs are stunners. I will consider them. Thank you!
Best Aussie weed guide I've seen, I'm familar with most of the mentioned weeds but know them by different names, daisy sow, goats head, creeping oxal, cobblers peg, dandelion, dandelion superior, milk weed, clover, onion grass, crab grass, sorrells, and gidgee.

Regarding the cootamundra wattle it can become a pest as it can out compete endemic species in the area. In an urban yard it should be fine but if you are planting on a property or next to the bush please consider this before establishing in your yard.
Hi, Ultimate backyard, I absolutely love gardening. I wish I had more time to attend to my garden. I have some rosebushes and they all have a scent. I love roses, I also have a vegetable garden elevated bed. I grow spinach, pumpkins, beans, radishes, tomatoes and herbs. I have a really good oregano plant that gives me 3 jars of oregano once I dry it. It's the best. Store bought doesn't compare. My fern collection love the shade and enjoy filtered light. I also have a vast collection of succulents which I love. Now I know why my lettuce gets shriveled up. Too much sunlight. Thank you.🌿🌹
How invasive are the root systems Is something i think you need to include in this As most people have drains and power cables under ground I loved the information you supplied Im not attacking you just trying to be helpful Cheers guys

I love lavender but I can't bring any cut flowers inside because I have cats. Apparently lavender is toxic to cats. I have French lavender and always cut it right down after its finished flowering.🪻
I found some old coloured pots and decided to make macrame with some jute. I hung up about 5 pots with some spider plants from some cuttings. Thank you for the information about which plants are ideal. I love ferns and succulents. Whenever I go for a walk I always find different succulents on the pathways. I have a green thumb and grow many cuttings successfully. I have many varieties of succulents.🌱🌱🌿🌿
It's amazing how many Australian native plants are used here in Southern California. I am happy to have discovered your channel and gained encouragement and wisdom...🤠🙏
I live in Western Aus and I was amazed how many similarities I found between here and LA..! Both Mediterranean climates so thats a start.. glad to hear you're enjoying our aussie natives over there too, they're amazing specimens!
hI. Thanks for your sharing. I have three reosemary plant for 3 years. they never grow and now they are almost all brown. Are they dead? Should i throw it away and buy new plant? Thanks for any advice.
So my passion fruit vine is dropping some red and some green fruit - I am not picking it just letting the plant decide when ripe. They are large fruit. It gets consistent water - is there a problem or just the plant doing its thing? Last year it only dropped red fruit.
