The harpsichord really adds a lot. If I could offer anything that detracts from it for me, it would be that the vocals are too much for the tension you're otherwise presenting very well. I feel like a track like this fits well in scenarios wherein you could be in the shoes of the hunter or the hunted. Very cool piece.
Thank you! That’s definitely what I was pitching for with this track a track for the combat scenes where you are being hunted by other vampires but at the same time you are hunting
Really gives me God of War 2/Prince of Persia vibes with a side of Nautical Gothic setting. Basically the big bad Genie who haunts the abandoned Lighthouse and Sea Port is sending skeletal wights to slay you as you fight and dodge your way to get within striking range of his magic lamp at the top of the Lighthouse and thus snuff it out to defeat him.
This sounds like the track for when the protagonist whilst snooping in the Vampire's study; comes across a picture and letter written by someone to the seemingly nice old man of the manor, Only the letter is dated July 1896 and thus shows the old man to be an Immortal Vampire! "Ahhhh!" Protagonist screams internally!
@TylerRGonelli make the vampire into a former pirate who made his money on the High Seas and later returned to home to buy a manor and spend his immortal days.
Sounds pretty pirate-like. There's this game called Rell Seas that's looking for music composers iirc, and it is a pirate themed game so maybe you could reach out to them
Kinda gives me pirates of the carribean vibes to start with the violins. Great track man would deffo work for building the tension in a boss fight or escape scene.
Thank you! I think that’s part of why they didn’t wind up using it for this vampire game they definitely thought it was more piratey, but the track they did wind up using they did love! Haha
@@TylerRGonelli actually yeah after re-hearing it does sound like something out of a pirate game, although I feel it would be good for a rpg or something.
It sounded like there already were some (or i might be going insane), but i think it would add some pizzazz if there were louder metal clanks that were not overwhelmingly loud, but just loud enough that they are noticeable while playing the game
