What’s the point of cutting out the back skin? You just added so much work and wasted material for nothing. You either do it by the inside or the outside. You don’t cut out the whole transom 😂
It's a choice if you want to keep the skin or not. He chose to reinforce with epoxy and 5 layers. That transom is plenty strong. New skin is epoxy, old skin is poly.

Wtf are they doing cuting holes in the stearn ,so when they run into somthing an half tip the bracket off there's no way of stoping the water from coming in ,halt ass job ,
No sealant on the bolts between transom and bracket (or was that cut from the video?)? Do you have some images from the inside? Did it need bolstering up the transom to handle the extra counterweight from being set back or just more bolts and the width sorted that out ? Thanks for the video!!
You guys do great work and i love to watch the work being done, however your video editing is almost giving me a seizure from all the unnecessary frames and editing done that moves around everywhere. I could barely see the product being constructed. And I say this sincerely respectfully.
