This Sunday, 2-5pm EST - tune into "Folk & Acoustic Music" on 91.3 FM in South Florida or www.wlrn.org I do a lot of interviews with local and touring artists and play albums and CDs of old and new bluegrass, blues, singer/songwriters and, folk music ! This RU-vid channel has many songs recorded during my radio show, lately I have been posting archives of television shows I did in the 1980s - "Folk Exposure", "New Traditions", "The Mr. Stock & Mr. Poe Show" and "The Mr. Poe & Mr. Stock Show" , thanks to the Cable TAP.
He comes across so nonchalant but he's tried every guitar and set around to develop his sound. He's a true troubadour that constantly strives for perfection and a great sense of humour to boot!!
Have listened to Bob Lind since the early 70’s, loved his music then and love his music now:) he is a very talented and great artist, miss this music on the radio’s. I love Illusive butterfly! Thank you Bob Lind!!
This guy has NOTHING TO APOLOGIZE FOR! He's a "Freelance Writer". You can hire him to write articles to explain away Scientology's crimes. Also, this was PAINFULLY BAD!
Yes! I heard this episode! Just magical! Loved it! So awesome to get to know new and local talent and to rediscover Bob Lind I remember hearing some of his music when I was really really young and had forgotten about it. I’m an instant fan of Timothy! So glad you posted the video. Thank you!
Gosh cannot thank you enough for the interviews you stream and capture in studio. Nothing is better than folk music and folk artists. And what a wonderful gem is Michael Stock Folk and Acoustic Music program everyday. We get introduced to artists we haven’t heard before and get to enjoy favorites as well. So much gratitude to Public Radio and this amazing show and its amazing, knowledgeable, kind host!!! Thank you!!! ☮️ PS: corruption backed by the very wealthy … it’s amazing how folk music has spread the truth of society all through time right up to today!!!!!
They are such amazing musicians and human beings!!! These shows all still keep us all as part of a community. Things are still very different and the communities we have found online - particularly those around music - are deeply important. As John McCutcheon says, music is not ornamental but instrumental to the fiber of the human condition. The video of Tangerine is amazing and fun! PS: You’re still doing your FB Lives on Sunday afternoons during your @Folk and Acoustic Music show, right? ☮️🎵
Wonderful and love this tour they did together …. Artists are so amazing and I am introduced to so many gifted people on Folk and Acoustic with Michael Stock!!!!
