Great job! Except my autopiler didn't come out of the box in its "un-locked position." It came it its locked position. Do you know of any videos that explain how to unlock it?
thank you for being so clear. there are a lot of other videos on the subject but they are very intentionally vague so that viewers can buy some of their instructional material...
Hey, this is great stuff, and information. So, that extinguisher is a one for all, isn't there a cinematographer out there that I can rent who does it all like this extinguisher???
You are the most amazing 😉 photographer! You took the most incredible pictures of my family years ago. How do I contact you now? Hope you are safe and well.
As shown and described at 1:49 mark - this is a telescopic crossbar. He is telescoping the bar while inserting at the later point 6:15 mark... Thanks...…..
I worked the NY wedding circuit when a steep did and we became friends. I learned a lot from him - he was very talented and room the craft seriously. Steve was a great guy. We needed up having “breakfast” at 2AM at the diner in our Tux’s (with one eye out the window at our cars full of equipment from the weddings we just shot) more times than I can remember. He will be missed.
Instead of fighting with armature wire, use a "baby plate" like the Matthews plates with 5/8" studs welded to a 3x5" plate. It's indestructable, cheap and reusable. Just tape or glue it to the back of your reflector material. products.msegrip.com/collections/plates/products/baby-plates
I was looking Steve Sint up today and found out that he died in 2014. I can't believe it. :( The knowledge contained in his photography books is worth gold.
Steve, each of your sessions is filled with a plethora of insight and surprising ideas that exceed the quality of information found anywhere on RU-vid. Not only are you a master photographer but an engaging storyteller, educator, and orator. Your intelligence and communication skills give credit to an industry filled with "veteran rookies" who are no more than amateurs paid for clicking a camera. Thank you for all the time, effort, and passion you deliver and exemplifying what it means to be a professional photographer.
