As a heavy smoker for over a decade I can still hit this ( I'm a soprano) it just depends on your voice yes smoking can damage your voice box, but to say you can't be a smoker and hit high notes is not true. Amy winehouse even used smoking to make her voice more raspy before she went on stage, but she could still hit very high notes...
