Ive heard many cover versions of this song. And I actually prefer this lyric change...Praise instead of Bless. Im always a bit confused with the "bless" term. For how can I.....a sinful creature...bless God? I can acknowledge Him. I can magnify Him. I can praise Him....but can I bless Him? What does that mean? is that more cultural than biblical?
