I've played through the dlc 7 times now and I've had around 300-400 attempts on bayle across the playthroughs. This is the only time I've had an enemy temporarily disable even across my 2 dozen playthroughs through the base game prior to the dlc release
@@askin_guy4652 yes but technically no. You have to be grabbed twice to have it kill you but if you kill the scadutree avatar you'll get miquellas rune which can't prevent you from dying
Locking a gesture behind the hardest boss in the game's instant kill grab attack (that only happens in phase 2 and has to hit you twice) is more FromSoft than anything FromSoft's ever done. EDIT: Just beat him, and it turns out you can get the gesture after beating him regardless, thankfully.
Probably nothing different, the SOTE expansion is canonically before the new order is established by the tarnished. Miquella calls you before by "aspiring lord of the old order" instead, to reflect the fact Marika hasn't been overthrown yet, story-wise
haha that bruh at the end and thank you for uploading a video for that. I was curious but don't want to do it myself. the reson: I did like 6 tries and only once got to phase 2. i think it was more then 6 tries. most I die without hitting 5 times
Yes I cheesed him but I didn't feel like spending 3+ hours trying to kill him lol. This was also on NG. Radahn and commander caius were the only 2 bosses that were alittle too much for me. Every other boss I found quite difficult but enjoyable
