Your slides are messed up. At 3:03 there are two columns, one for HTS and the one on the right for HS. However, you list only HS stuff under HTS and HTS stuff under HS.

Please exercise caution, as theres an uptick in manufacturers (specially from China), informing IORs, incorrect HS codes. This in order to pretend that IORs will pay less duty OR, avoid ADD/CVD. So, if you are a new importer, please make sure to consult with a Licensed Customs Broker (preferable one that has the experience and expertise in these types of lanes and products.). This will help you avoid potential pitfalls that can result in harsh penalties, delays, cargo seizures and even legal issues that can lead to imprisonment.

"An air waybill (AWB) or air consignment note is a receipt issued by an international airline for goods and an evidence of the contract of carriage, but it is **NOT** a document of title to the goods ( unlike Bill of lading which is a document of title of the goods). Hi, Does your LCL load get taken to a warehouse on or near the port? If it does go to a warehouse, do you have to have a CDL to pickup or can a regular vehicle pick up the load (only 2000 lbs load)? Considering Port of LA or Long Beach.
