If she „fell in love“ with Damon she SHOULD have chosen him in season 3. It’s ONLY the dialogue!!!! There is also an important thing about the sirebond, Damon WANTS her feelings for him real that‘s why when she was not sired anymore and chose him so it is „real“ but it’s only „real“ but ONLY for Damon. Is it real? -> NO ‼️‼️ The fact that Elena could break the compulsion of Silas shows she is IN LOVE with STEFAN and with Damon. Another thing that Elena is spending a whole day with amnesia Stefan and that she leaned forward to kiss Stefan shows that she REFALL in love with Stefan. After the line „I am with Damon“ she was CONFUSED and it showed that the sirebond MESSED up with her mind. She did NOT even say that he has „feelings“ for someone else.
If I wasn't a 4 yo when this show came out I just KNOW I would've had a fanpage for these two and the rest of the cast but it makes me happy to know they were good friends during it
Stefan and Elena should be endgame. ♥️ Damon and Katherine should be endgame. ♥️ But Damon and Elena had great sexual chemistry. And Katherine and Stefan too.
writers destroy the show by destroying stelena, im sorry but they were soulmate even klaus said it and they were endgame if nina didn't left the show (julie said it)
I liked the first three seasons when elena and Stephan were together but I was rooting for Elena and Damon, their tension was amazing in season 3 after they got together it was a major disappointment. I always felt the series would have been much better if it ended with the cliff hanger of season 3.
If you were an OG fan from 2009 we lived through this & the OG trio together will always be epic. Unless you were around back then you'll never understand the excitement we lived through ❤
only if the show ended as Stefan and Elena being human and living the life they both always wanted because lets be real, they both kinda sucked at being vampires and probably the only two characters who would give up their vampirism in a heartbeat to have that ONE life for themselves, for each other.
They should have been end game! Stefan didn't have happiness in the entire show except for about 2 weeks in the first season (which is about 2 or 3 episodes). Sad when Damon gets an entire LIFETIME of tons of happiness AND gets the amazing good girl at the end as well. All while Stefan gets heartache and loneliness and then just has to die.

'Back in season 2 when Kevin and I were sitting in the mall and we had fallen in love with this series and this story about two brothers who loved the same girl and the love triangle was kicking into high gear, we said to ourselves : when all is said and done, when this show is over, both brothers should die in the name of saving their girl and then watching her like ghosts - because we had introduced the Other Side - as she went off into the sunset to live her life and maybe marry Matt Donovan or maybe become a doctor.'
Elena and Stefan deserved so much more.She never wanted to become a vampire And then she got turned season 3 ,but in season 2 she she told Stefan she didn't want to be a vampire she was supposed to have a lifetime of choices and now she can't,but I think her turning into a vampire changed her and she said it herself.She loved Stefan with her all but when she turned she started having feelings for Damon,but the spark to Delena was when he gave her the necklace Stefan gave her for a symbol of hope.So still wish stelena lasted all 8 seasons not 4 and originally she was supposed to be with Stefan until Nina left the show then they had to have Delena instead of stelena.
Stefan loved Katherine only when he thought she was human, after was only lust and Kathereine was the cause of all his future problems. Stefan has always consider himself a good person and his vamparism clash horribly with this self images. So loving the "good doppleganger" is rewriting his personal history, it is what in his mind was supposed to happen with Katherine before everything went horribly wrong. He loved Elena, the "good doppleganger" because Elena was "good". When she didn't lived to this high expectation, (because who can?) and became a vampire, didn't want to live on a bunny diet, show sign of not being so perfect, killed a person, etc.she wasn't anymore what he wanted and wanted to fix her. He never loved Elena for who she was, he loved her for selfish personal reasons, a relationship doomed to crash as it did. Elena was never his meant to be and that is very clear since season one. The writers used the Stefan Elena relationship as a plot devise to very slowing built the Elena and Damon relationship that was clearly the meant to be for Damon and that is clear too, from season one. Stefan, when he start to be selfaware of his imperfections and reconcile with it, he was open for an selfless relationship, with Caroline, his meant to be. That is how you write a show that is beautiful, with a meaningful character progression.
So beautiful, great job. They had so much chemistry and they were what made me fall in love with the show. I’ll forever be devastated they weren’t endgame

I always thought it would be Stefan and Elena because they were sort of the anchor of the show. Everyone was Team Stelena on the show because Bonnie, Caroline, and even Klaus wanted to see Elena end up with Stefan. Caroline should have married Klaus and gone around the world with him. Stefan and Elena was endgame ❤

Despite all the hardships they had to go through, Stefan and Elena trusted each other and their love knew no bounds. Each brought out the best in the other and would have sacrificed everything for the other. This love story is the most beautiful there is and deserved much better.
