I worked a catering job in that theater attended by the Koch brothers. They are billionaire philanthropists who give money to Libertarian political candidates. The theater was closed for the private event I also once walked by George C Scott's son (forgot his name) underneath the marquee. He's an actor but I haven't seen him in anything for a long time.
I bin to this theater 🎭 plenty of times beautiful place always showing great movies 🎥 🍿🎞️📽️🎦old theatre 🎭 and clean great place always showing movies go with family or a date awesome nice 👍 ❤👍☝️🙏🤩😀🫶🏻👏good horror movies this time of year to spooky 👻 🎃🎃💀💀☠️

I ❤ Pete’s Tavern! Love and miss Woolworths! I’m not a fan of the big slender buildings either it does cast a shadow over the city changes its character I wish they’d never started ! Why put it next to the w State Building it’s an iconic building! Let it stand in its own. My opinion . What makes New York so beautiful is the talent and craftsmanship immigrants brought over from all over the world . I ❤ the Italian 8 style you see it in all the apartments 6 stories etc built pre war times . And really throughout the city . 🌃 They build Love your channel!
Such a beautiful place! If I would live in New York, I'm pretty sure, I would be a regular customer. I always loved the old, classic stuff. Cars, music, movies and so on too! 😊

Margaret Hamilton- the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz lived at the Gramercy when I was a kid. she would dress up as the Witch for Halloween and hand out candy to kids. She was awesome.
Hi J, K and sweet Hudson! Pete's Tavern is beautiful on the inside and out. So much history throughout the years. The salmon looked delicious. All the Fall and Halloween decorations looked so nice.🎃 By the way Karla, fantastic outfit and accessories. 😊❤
Great history, 1864, I think that's the last time the NY Jets won a championship. It's nice to have pictures on the wall of the restaurant of Tom Hanks, Martin Scorsese and Mickey Mantle but WHERE'S HUDSON? His time on screen dwarfs an amateur like Tom Hanks and, unlike Tom Hanks, believe it or not, Hudson never took a single theater class. Hudson jumping up on the table evoked the 1997 filming of Godzilla not far from the Tavern at 23rd Street at the Flatiron Building, where you've walked to previously. There's a rumor that Hudson's Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather actually suggested the story of "The Gift of the Magi" to O'Henry but had the couple exchange dog biscuits.
Beautiful video, loved the history and tour of Pete's Tavern, the Halloween decor on that gorgeous townhouse was awesome and the walk in the park. I'm sorry that little pup snubbed Hudson, but I think he was intimidated by size. Lovely walk.
Thank you Lorna for the great feedback on our tour of Pete’s Tavern and our walk around the city. We loved seeing the Halloween 🎃 decorations at the townhouse and plan on showing more in the next few weeks. Hudson is such a sweet and friendly dog and does not understand why all doggies are not friendly like himself.
Not happy that this past Monday you, apparently, couldn't take 30 seconds to let us know (via the community page) that the Mayhem Monday livestream was canceled. I was (after 2 previously canceled streams) very much looking forward to it. Very disappointing...

@@bigv681 Hi Vincent. I know the previously two canceled MM streams was because of their health. They let us know that via the community page. However, this past Monday there was (again) no MM stream AND NO message about it on the community page. I clear my schedule every Monday and look very much forward to watching a Lego or Puzzle build and to participating in the Trivia and Chat. I don't think it's to much to ask for a 'heads up' when it's canceled (for whatever reason)!
Marjolein we apologize for not having our usual Mayhem Monday livestream two days ago but we had a very important client photo shoot on Monday which we had to originally reschedule from the previous week due to us having a high fever and sore throat. We thought we would be able to finish our work in a few hours but it ended up taking much longer (until the evening) and we had no cell service on location to make an announcement about the cancellation. We sincerely apologize as we know you and many others look forward to our live chats especially during our LEGO/puzzle build & trivia chat livestreams. We hope you understand and thank you for all your love and support.
The lunch looks so delicous, and Pete,s Tavern is a beautiful and cosy place!😊 When you talk about the private park, I know there is a place in London England called Eaton Square, and all the apartments there are very exclusive, and many celebrities have lived there. And the people that lives there have a key to a private park nearby the apartments just like in New York. 😊🌹🌷
Wow! What a gorgeous bat…love the outdoor seating. Thats what I would’ve ordered…salmon. And what a generous piece! Hudson was so funny all excited w his lunch. 😅 Love those big good old buildings…nothing like them. And really love the book. Such beautiful photos.
Christine we are so glad you enjoyed our livestream tour of the gorgeous historic Pete’s Tavern and the delicious lunch we had there with Hudson. We too love their outdoor seating and their food is not only incredible but is also affordable especially for the expensive neighborhood it is located in. Thanks for sharing this wonderful look at "Pete 's Tavern", which is a NYC gem and part of the great book "Great Bars of NewYork City". Very affordable and very elegant. It's history is extensive and rich, especially when its backdrop is New York itself. James was stuffed with that huge burger he gor there. Love the walk down through Irving place to Gramercy Park, which is a beutiful private park and loved the look at the Halloween decorations at Gramercy Park West. Loved the walk to Madison Square Park and The walk to Lady's Mile, which both has a rich history all of their own. Thanks for sharing this with us plus the marvelous Mr Hudson whose love for people and animal alike has no bounds. Please stay safe warm and dry and enjoy the rest of your day
