I do enjoy the side quests involving racing, but it does feel like a missed opportunity when you don't get the ability to actually control the vehicle.
Agreed they could have just done a car version of the snowboarding Minigame in CS2, dosen’t have to be anything fancy just a little time trial in the ingert while avoiding traffic or something 🤔 I’ve missed the mini games in daybreak, I really liked blade and blade 2
The Highbloods didn’t lose?🥲 But yes, some guides could spoil but tbh saving before any quest that gives 3 SPs (those always have choices) reloading and skipping till the choice part doesn’t take much time if you want to do it after the YT uploads. I still got the max Spriggan Rank with more than enough pts, so you can also get to max even when missing some choices.

Yeah, reloading a save to get the correct choices is always an option. I tend to go the guide route and risk the potential spoilers. Sadly, I remember being spoiled about crucial plot points in CS3 & CS4 when I just finished playing CS2. I tend to go crazy when browsing tv tropes and went down a weird rabbit hole (was originally there reading up on Y's 8 and somehow stumbled upon the aforementioned CS spoilers).

This is cinema, GJ Mr. Gotti. She is gorgeous👌 It was nice to see so many familiar faces again on the night rounds, both important NPCs and minor ones. GJ Lodi/Selma, the best part is that he is not even forcing it. He likes her as a friend and neither of them is rushing or forcing it. And before I forget, Paulette is truly the Diva of Old Town. That was adorable haha
I wasn’t expecting her to look like that at all but damn, she really does rock every outfit and I am a massive fan of the hair down look ngl 😏 I also wasn’t expecting the lingerie jump scare! Film was worth the ticket price and then some 🤣 I will 100% watch wolves requiem next time tho. I can’t wait till they officially become a couple, it’s either happening next next chapter or the one after for sure! Unless the world ends like it usually does round about now in trails games 😂 Paulette and Yumes are cuteness overdrive! Falcom couldn’t have made a more adorable mum and daughter combo 🥹

You thought the book seller would be the only normal Blacklight npc but she turned out to be the craziest one lol, she is kinda cute but definitely a no-no. And well, the Basel trip/chapter is now official and of course there are a lot of schemes brewing underneath 🧐 Time for the night rounds and keeping the Capital safe. Also, nighttime movies to keep collecting brochures too haha

Basel draws near indeed time to see the Roer of calvard, *sigh* if only Alisa was also there 😭 everything’s gonna go to hell this chapter I just know it… The nighttime rounds have been my favourite rounds in this game, there pretty short and filled with fun moments like the movies 🙏

I love the Blacklight district haha, the NPCs are quite memorable too. And yup lol, they are indeed affiliated with the Church. I am also a big fan of Templar Swords, whip-like swords are peak fantasy/rpg aesthetic 🗿👌 The Emperor honestly had such a cool power and artifacts, he still deserved what happened to him with Nadia/Swin. Haha, I also say “but of course” just like that thanks to Rufus🤣. Overall fantastic episode, enjoyed seeing so many important folks chatting on the underworld. Enjoy the mini rounds.
Bruh some of them make Melchior seem normal 😂 they were all so hilarious and nuts I had to keep it all in so this episode got split instead of doing ALL of black light in 1 as I was originally gonna do 🙌 I really need the sky remakes as I barely know of the church although I’ve heard celes name before. For sure whip swords need to be in more games, they are peak fantasy and it’s suprising barely any have them. I think scarlet had one right? I loved the emperor too it’s a shame he didn’t get to do much outside of the boss fights, but I guess falcom didn’t want to go to deep into the gardens lore in reverie as they were saving it for calvard. BUT OF COUUUUURRRRSSSSEEEE!! *tries to do the poshest voice* 🤣 I can’t say that I day to day convos normally now either! Thanks man the main story moments in this game have been insane! @@Steveagogoshe is definitely future A rank material. They never explain it but I imagine it is a combination of jobs finished, requests, abilities, teamwork/leadership, etc. Then HQ takes that into consideration and promotes them to the next rank.

Rich daughter saved haha, I actually tossed the money bag to Eddy so we could save the 10million Mira and not fund the Desire douches, she stays safe and we keep the money but Eddy gets shot. He recovers tho but I kinda liked this so he could learn his lesson lol. Both outcomes have a good ending so no worries. (Also, I agree with the crime loving lass. She is definitely one of the cutest in the city, her design feels more unique/HQ than many NPCs) Nice to see the Ashen bond, I went for Risette but this one was great too. Always liked her since our Langport chapter, she is pretty cute and now I got to see a different side of her. And yes, most unique accessories are great especially if you get them early.
To think this all could have been avoided if her dad would see her even just once smh poor girl 😭 bruh these 4SPG’s really are getting more intense and the stakes are increasing, I feel bad for eddy as he’s just a bit of a loner who wants a place to belong. @@Steveagogo Eddy is definitely not a bad kid, just rude and kinda dumb lol. So yes, this 4SPG helped him realize he was not made for the thug life. I actually got to see most of the unique bond events except Ashen and the Prince. So in retrospect I would definitely aim for them since we can spend more time with our employees (and a single bond event can max the unique chars, they just need 100 pts)

Also since you mentioned the Prince I have changed things up for the millionth time, so I’ll be doing ALL the bonding events available in the day and night in one episode after all the 4SPG’s are done. (Just reloading the save to see them) 🙌 so we’ll be seeing Prince sherid’s and all one off ones from tonight’s onwards 🫡 I probably should have done this at the start but ah well better late than never eh? 😂
@@Steveagogo hmm.. aside from some stat boosts I don't remember seeing anything extra from our employees. But maybe it does matter so obviously max your fav employees just in case, the ones giving unique items are the unique npcs or guys like René (sry Kincaid) etc. I didn't plan meticulously and still ended up maxing Agnes, Judith, Nina, Renne, Elaine and many chars. So you will have more than enough to max your fav chars (remember you also send gifts, watch movies, it slowly adds up)
The return of the Green Power Ranger’s flute lmao. Man, that religion was a mix of a cult and a Herbalife/Pyramid scheme. I also killed the monster because I wanted to dismantle the cult and not make the Guru a martyr for the followers. Loved the Renne bond event and we finally see Ronald in game, as pathetic/petty as he was back in the Reverie Daydream. You would think he learned his lesson but he is certainly delusional. It’s nice having Renne as an Aramis Batman, she will take care of things from the shadows and keep all students safe🗿👌They grow so fast

I wasn’t expecting him to return after Rennes daydream that was dope 🗣 for sure after getting completely destroyed by renne in a fight not to mention his dad getting wrecked as well, he thought he could take her out with a few goons 😂 gonna need an army to beat renne 💪 No one will be able to step foot on aramis soil while she’s there 😂 Batman for sure!
I went ahead and warned the guy. He didn't heed the warning and ultimately lost his life. Finally, a choice with real consequences. This felt like the turning point in the game as far as Chaos choices are involved.

Judith and Nina are fine actresses. Both have their strengths and while I prefer Judith as a character, Nina had the better bonding events. It's funny that you can technically start Nina's bonding event before she's officially introduced (I think her name is marked as ???, could be mistaken since it was so long ago).
For a moment I really thought Nina might become a party member as well as Judith, I was looking forward to having the actress duo wrecking fools 😩 ooo I’ll be on the lookout for her event since I’ve discovered you get some pretty insane accessories from the “one off” bonding events 🙌 so I’ll try and prioritise whoever they are as I imagine the main gang will have quite a few more moments 💪 ofc I’ll pick Judith and Elaine everytime that goes without saying 😂

Agnes always surprised me even if she wasn’t technically a dps char haha. She is the second best arts user in game after all. You’re not alone in the Judith appreciation, every time I experienced a bond event I always took one or two screenshots. She’s such a photogenic lass (as expected of a famous actress lol). The Elaine one was cute as well, plus little crumbs of the past and their childhood. We are slowly learning more 🧐

No matter the occasion Risette always dresses properly you gotta respect it 🫡 if I know trails I know this chapter should be pretty nuts as falcom is usually relatively done with most of the world building by chapter 3 😮 I do love the storylines of the NPC’s I’m reading everything! Just not necessarily showing them all however 😂 this is looking to be as long as reverie already! But I will be here for when Selma and Lodi naturally get married I ship them super hard as you can see heh, no one can match renne in most things as we know! Simply knowing she’s in Edith is enough to make you feel at ease 😊 I felt so horrible bringing her to it! Trust in falcom! I remember a Romeo and Juliet type romance happening in cold steel 3 between a noble and commoner, we got to see it blossom all the way to reverie! It was insane meeting them again in Mainz out of nowhere after they ran off together 🥹 Man I can’t wait for the remake I’ve always been kicking myself for focusing on cs1-reverie over starting sky 😭 well I did play sky till we leave the first area, I had to stop tho cause cs4 came out and I couldn’t not play it after that bombshell ending in 3 😂 I really wanna see leonhardt for once! I’ve only heard stories about him although sadly as we know from cold steel games how it ends 😞 I had no idea they dropped gear as a reward for the one off ones, let’s just say I was very surprised by what it does 😂

You’re going to love the Liberl Arc, especially with the new engine and gameplay. Ah, Leonhardt. The Bladelord🗣️🔥 Definitely one of my fav Enforcers, it is no wonder so many Anguis and Ouroboros members held him in high regard. He was easily one of the strongest, even McBurn respected him as a rival/friend.

That was a great finale to chapter 3. We talked with the Don Gerard Dantes, a battle against the Prince and Naje, Saara/Shaheena are safe, the badass Grendel transformation that never gets old (with the cool bgm as well), that was cinema🧐☝️ Nice to see Risette could help us avoid the side effect of it. I laughed when Judith left the building and then appeared seconds later acting like she just arrived lol. And welcome to the team, Risette. She is such a lovely lass and extremely talented at stuff we were lacking atm haha (she was my EOTM on chapter 3 btw, so I think it is a mix of dmg dealt and other stuff. You probably got Aaron since you did a lot of his s crafts and that dmg definitely adds up lol)

Next day I definitely knew he was sus, especially when he disappeared one day and put a random replacement guy on the table. And same, it was funny to see Van close the door in disbelief lol. As for EOTM, I actually got a different one every chapter. I did it so every chapter got a different employee. I even managed to make Agnes the EOTM one chapter haha (gave her a cast time reduction and arts dmg holo core)

Man it always makes me feel so dumb when falcom does this 🤣 I genuinely didn’t put crow and C together in cs1 and let’s just say I was frozen in shock for like 10 mins smh Hmm so it must be damage related then! Well that makes me like feri even more since she got it twice in a row 🙌 I’ll be giving that holo to Risette and keeping Agnes has pure support, I still need to give her an aoe heal/cleanse for when she has no combat points 🤔

This game is so similar to how I decided waifus in cs1 for me, I was fully on board for Laura/Elaine until chapter 3 when we got to to know Alisa/Judith a lot more 😂 had Alisa or Judith not exsisted id of 100% gone Laura/Elaine 🙌 Although I can see myself potentially going back to Elaine when she gets her moment, for now we’ve only really seen her angry at van 😂 when the inevitable heart to heart happens then I’ll decide 💪

@@Steveagogo What makes it worse is that I rarely invest in mages since I can go unga bunga on lower difficulties. This applies to most rpgs I play, not just Trails.
physical mains unite! I also rarely if ever invest or use mages in general besides maybe one if the game calls for it, CS1-4 i just used Alisa for both support and mage although mage crow is busted. All you need in life is craft spamming!

I'm not saying I'm old or anything but there's nothing like a hot shower to deal with stiff joints. I've actually used saunas before and they're a good way to sweat out toxins, although it's not something I'd routinely do.

I'm not much of a strategist but I've always used the over world battles to recharge my characters craft points. I would continuously swap out my party leaders to make sure I'm topped off. It became a habit very quickly.
I can’t believe I never thought of doing that till basically the end of chapters 3 😶 I never noticed you got cp for doing that I thought it was just the boost things smh my head… I still keep thinking the combats like the previous games 😂
That is one gigantic basement and whew, Saara is safe at least. It was nice to have Fie join us, she actually hits pretty hard and you did great against the Samurai Robot. All the passives helped a lot. RIP Gaspard, this is why you never ally yourself with Almata. And man… I felt the same way when I was watching Fie/Saara/Shaheena walk to the Bracer Guild. I was sure Fie could handle it but… If only she would have accompanied her and played it safe. Then again she usually has great instincts, maybe that Almata Boss is something else😢
Seriously! This entire part ended up being a little over 2 hours in total, I’ve never had to cut so much stuff before 😂 hopefully it all still flowed well I’m trying to trim down mini boss/bosses now as well as they are starting to take upwards of 20 mins on just that fight 🤯 finally fie joined us for more than one fight and she was as epic as I’d hoped! I still miss her instant KO skill tho I loved spamming that 😢 thanks man! I was super proud of that fight as everything went well! Plus newly built Risette didn’t disappoint 🙏 silly mr moustache man although he was a bit of a dooche that was a super brutal way to go and the sound effects on it… ewww BRUH OMG WHY! Why do they always run off on their own like that man, she knows how dangerous it is not to mention she and her sister literally just got taken 💀 I swear if she ends up dying this chapter I’ll need a weeks break to write a letter to falcom 🤣
@@Steveagogo Mustache dude was certainly a douche, but we all know there's nothing the protagonists can do to him that can be worse than what Almata can do. We all know how they "terminate" their contracts with their former employees or independent contractors.

Never liked the Mustachio man but didn’t expect him to kidnap Saara. Time to break into Vegas Film next episode😤 I am glad Agnes could point out how Vegas Film would be involved and finally someone mentioning how the orbal hookahs were to blame lol. I think it was evident at this point. I also found them sus since day 1, then again we have the player POV that helps see the broader picture haha. And man… I don’t remember seeing that crazy Saara stalker smoke much, he is legit a timebomb and should be in jail or a mental asylum.

I’m so proud of Agnes this chapter she’s been the one to solve almost everything, much to her surprise as well 😂 FINALLY THE DAMN HOOKAHS ARE MENTIONED! Like cmon bruh how did no one put two and two together until now smh my head… 😂 but yeah it’s easier for us to spot this stuff than if it was real life, I’d probably think it was just the new “in” thing as well and not pay much attention… Seriously he’s been one of the most disturbing NPCS in trails as a whole, every time he mentions their sharing the same breath and stuff makes my skin crawl so much 😩 I’d say put him in jail but well, as we know the police in calvard arnt particularly good at their jobs 😂
@@Steveagogo they do look like mustache wings lol. Agnes has learned a lot with Arkride Solutions, from Miss Perfect (like Aaron calls her haha) to someone with a lot of real life experience for her age. When she graduates she will have the experience of a Bracer/Jaeger with how crazy Almata is🥲
I definitely never tried twisting my stache when I was younger to see what it looked like no sir e not me 😂 she’s definitely going to be secondary leader in the future if Vans not available, girls the brains of the operation 🧠 lmao I can see her going back to school in a year and being a complete badass, renne would be so proud 🥹 hopefully she stays wholesome tho and dosen’t get too changed by what she sees y’know
Glad you’re enjoying Risette’s cheap/reliable shield, I actually used Agnes’s shield a lot but on later chapters. It is more expensive tho haha. Btw, I rarely if ever saw misses on my playthough. Maybe it’s because I always aimed for over 100% hit ratio? I never checked if certain bosses had more evade % haha. And of course it is a magic glowing Aloe Vera that’s helping make these drugs lol. Then we got to fight Naje and the Prince, she had some cool moves and was strong as expected. Prince is also a great arts user, even had a flute and unique aoe skills. Fie saves the day tho😤☝️
I’m fully addicted to her shield even though I forget to use it 90% of the time 😅 I can definitely see Agnes being better in higher dmg taken scenarios with the health regen, it’s just a shame it’s aoe is fixed and smaller plus 70 combat points 😭 I can’t remember the last time I saw misses in reverie but in this game it’s constant I swear! There accuracy is at least 60 or more I think I’m just unlucky smh I always knew aloe Vera was evil! It being good for burns was just a rouse to hide it’s true power 🤯 I really really didn’t expect the naje Prince fight, I thought it was going to be the “girl in white” for sure. My heart always sinks when you have to do another fight with no resources left lmao. Fie is always ready and watching as we know and no one can escape the evasion queen 💪😏 Oh yeah I ended up cutting about 15 mins from these boss fights, to get the video under 1hr and a bit hopefully it worked out 🫡
@@Steveagogo you are going to love these shields in future bosses/chapters, they are what save you from S crafts haha. But for normal battles I agree they are overkill. Looking forward to learn more about the girl in white and her organization, like you said she does remind me of Altina in the way she speaks. She definitely doesn’t feel evil but she is certainly an antagonist while she works for Almata.
I kinda wish we had them in previous games but I guess they were easy enough with brave orders 😂 I’ve only used them once per fight/boss fight and besides Van taking every hit possible the shield dosent go down it’s nuts! Oh for sure she gives major altina vibes before she gets saved and “Humanfied” if that’s a word by rean 😂 like you say she gives off massive “following orders” vibes but that raises the question of if black worshop tech got leaked or something? I dunno but I’m so into this I can’t wait for the next chapter and the intermission which everyone says is one of the best parts! 🙌

Laughed at the npc cheering the wall, these hallucinogens are something else. Well, gotta admit both Van/Gotti have a good eye for potential dancers. Van actually has a silver tongue when it comes to persuasion, I always knew that female cop had potential 🧐 And agreed, I expected Gotti to give them more saucy outfits, now I see he is actually tasteful and respects the art👍

The chaos choices so far have been pretty tame overall, but it's certainly ramping up. I enjoyed some more than others. It will be interesting seeing where you land at the end of the story, but I'm satisfied with falling equally on every alignment. I hate being pigeonholed into one route
I think the only really sketchy chaos option was the guy wanting to jump infront if the train, that was the only time I really felt dread picking it 😂 but I’ve got the feeling nothing THAT bad will happen either way 🙌 I’m curious as well and I really wanna find out what we get for them! I have no idea which ending I will get as it’s pretty much even everywhere despite not using a guide lmao 🤣 guess I’m the definition of morally gray hmm
