Hello Leslie! I've been making tiny dresden plates since I saw this video a couple weeks ago. I came across a product called Applipops, they are sets of concentric metal rings. I used the smallest to fussy cut and shape my center circles out of fabric. Just thought you might be interested. I love your button centers too. 🌻🍄
That is totally adorable 😊 you have patience. When I was younger I could make anything I would help my Nanny make things she would have orders for that my Father would sell at his shop I’ve always been into crafting I just love to see what comes from my hands and what they can do so adorable 🥳❣️🙌
What size binding strip are you using and what is the stitch length, newbie here and I’m trying so hard to get this table topper down. I’ve already messed up trying to bind with the backing so I had to unpick my basting stitches which were just like any other stitch since I forgot to change the stitch length. Then I rip the backing fabric when I was on the very last side to be unpicked so I had to cut a couple of inches off the outside row. I’m about ready to give up on it all and this is my last attempt at making this right.
you make it look soooo easy! I will say this is the best zipper tutorial I've seen! and I've watched a few -- (dozen 😑) 🤣🤣 thanks for the inspiration ✳️ -also just a suggestion- 🤷🏻♀️ I would benefit from a closer view of the presser foot and other details you are doing.
Try laying interfacing on top of fabric, draw circle, sew on circle, trim, cut a slit in the interfacing and reverse your circle. Work out circle. No chance of raw edge.
Wow. Adorable. I found that the glass dish was pretty easy to find on Etsy but it probably depends on the day. Sooooo cute. But honestly my favorite part are the little holes for clips and scissors. Brilliant.
