Great info, I am being overrun and need some scientific help. I am not alone, Many neighbors complaining of the same thing. The rains this year helped spawn a huge increase in the population.
Cleaning Backpack Sprayers Cleaning backpack sprayers is much different from cleaning a field rig. Backpack sprayers are far smaller in size with a lot less plumbing to hide pesticide residues. Thus, they are much easier to clean. In fact, cleaning a backpack sprayer is a lot like rinsing a pesticide container. Rinse out the tank thoroughly and then spray the rinsate from the sprayer onto the site of application. When applying the rinsate, do not exceed the legal amount of pesticide that may be applied to a given area. Repeat this procedure for a total of three rinses. For the second rinse, consider using a commercial tank cleaner to make a solution that will more effectively remove residues. See the pesticide label for recommended cleaning agents. Another source is the Guide for Weed, Disease, and Insect Management in Nebraska, EC130. Allow the solution to sit for the amount of time listed on the label of the cleaning product. Rinse a third time with only water. After the third rinse, the sprayer should be sufficiently cleansed to be used with a different product.
I’ve been experiencing bites that I think are from bed bugs, but I inspected my mattress and didn’t find anything. Would it be possible they’re INSIDE the mattress itself?

I have aboveground and underground video that will prove your information wrong. Pretty much everything you’ve said is off. Pocket gophers are STRICT HERBIVORES, they will not eat grain, nuts, seeds or bait. Two tunnels from the main tunnel? You don’t know about intersections? How about breeding and birthing dens? Open or close tunnel? OMG you have no idea on why. Using those toxic gases/poisons are what have killed humans in this country. Also, gophers will NOT EAT IT they push it aboveground where birds, and omnivores eat, they die and then other species eat them and also die. Tell them why you have to now wear those gloves. Talk about the EPA changing the label after those two little girls died. The bottom line here is that people are lazy and won’t do the work required. It sounds like you’ve never studied live pocket gophers. They are not the same as rats, mice and ferrets. If you research all the baits and poisons on the U.S. market, not one we’re tested on a pocket gopher. They were all tested on rats, mice, and ferrets. Some states have already started taking action, these products should not be slowed for the pocket gopher species as they can get rid of it and kill rare and endangered species.
I followed your instructions exactly, and came out with my sprayer will deliver 5 gals per acre. What I can’t digure out is how much chemical to add ? I can’t find the number on the label.
How to calculate field dox for lab experiment???? And what can we take for this calculation??? What will select for field dose procedure written on insecticides bottles???
Thanks for your helpful video. Here is the users guide you mentioned you couldn't find: www.thefountainheadgroup.com/media/documents/0909/181702_backpack_sprayer_manual_g_enesfr.pdf
If you have bed bugs, it will be like a rash. We have a problem in our building, and I did not have a problem, I let two people in to look at my bed and they said you do not have bed bugs. I said I knew that otherwise I would have been bitten. As soon as they left I felt lousy. I now have a rash and I thought that it was just the mattress becoming old and maybe the insides affecting me. I was going to turn the mattress over this afternoon, and then I noticed on the opposite side of the bed, I had bugs. One side was clear and I never bothered to check the other. So when I saw those, I killed them straight away, you can do this with your fingers they die easy enough, however, when I turned the mattress over, I noticed black on the mattress, like they have been doing their business. If you have black anywhere, then get rid of the mattress, and get rid of it, if your son does get a rash. You have to wash and dry your clothes and bedding on as high a temp as possible, heat kills them so I am going to go around with the iron and boiling hot water. I might do the water first on the carpet and then when dry use the iron but obviously only use an iron if you don't mind replacing the carpet, hot water will be bad as well as it might shrink the carpet.
I find it easier to spray one gallon of water and measure the area covered. That allows me to calculate the amount of water and chemical to use per 1000 sqft. Easy peazy.
