Welcome to my channel. I love to be outdoors biking, hiking, kayaking.. pretty much anything... but most of all fishing. This channel is used to share my adventures while learning from and teaching other people with similar interests. Other interest I have and will post are about health & fitness, technology, and just about anything I have time to create an interesting (to me :-P) video about.
For the US ngo contractors out there please vouch. Most of the gear boxes are pelican I think they got a contract for a few years in the mid 90’s and everyone fights for the pelican gear boxes still
i just found out uncle steve is alive after all this time he’s on a diff channel still uploading vids (not fishing) as of an hour ago i’m not sure if he wants attention or not that’s the only reason i don’t wanna say thank you for this tribute im just spreading great news uncle steve is still with us and he looks great
Did you come up with the pool noodle idea yourself or did you figure it out from watching other youtube videos and just copied the idea. If so, you should mention that in your video.
@@Thingermagiger hey... It's been years. I have heard of people getting their windows broken. Park as close the YMCA or get dropped off. I never had any issues. Just be aware. Lots of big bass in there. All I have ever seen, big bad and turtles.
I own a bass tracker 17 foot and it's a great boat asside from routine maintenance it owes me absolutely nothing, it's put me, my son and my buddies on a ton of fish for not alot of money and I plan to get many more years out of it
Yes this boat is one I just plan to keep forever. It does exactly what I need and I just do my maintenance. Then only major maintenance I've had to really do this time was I had to replace the throttle cables because one of them.
Why you cant charge battery on concrete floor?:))) battery case is from plastic, its dialectric, and do not absorb water or oil. Guys just think critically.
It was something with old batteries. Passed down and some people still do it, not much a case with modern batteries. Move along. I get new buyers who want tips EVERY YEAR ON THIS BOAT. Some people are just negative... I am sure you got one idea and come to post this. 👍. Thanks for helping everyone out
...so it's the future. And in my infinite wisdom, I ordered something that said it was going to fit my car, raved about it, and of course after 2 hours out in the sun and nearly eaten up by every last bug alive, I have come to the conclusion that it does not fit my car........ So what do I do? I decided to work smarter and not harder in RU-vid anything easier than what I just spent over $100 on and what do I see the simplest, smartest option for my Toyota hatchback in our camping gear! Thank you, my brother!
I wish I would have known about it earlier myself. It is a fantastic solution. I still have it and still use it. Is the universal and it is something that especially nowadays more people need to know about. A lot of the newer vehicles won't even allow you to purchase a universal rack... This will fit just about any vehicle out there. And you just made me remember I need to take it on the trip with me in the coming weeks. Thank you
The main reason I declined buying the M4 is that its not compatible for transom fold away/up transom wheels x2 which helps tremendously to maneuver and launch which is in my opinion very important. Yes are other ways and means to move from A to B but a pair of transom wheels is a win win for me.
I am recording a new video now Because I am redoing a deck. This time I'm using a proper brown carpet and I'm doing the hatches just a little bit differently so I'll make a new video and I'll let you know when I post it up.
Those moons are dope. I put one on my g3 sportsman 1710 and I’m thinking about getting adjustable rods to replace the straps and put the rear rods that came with the top to replace the front straps.
Hi Jaime, I did this too following your instructions as best I could. I thought I used a heavy duty plastic bag with a football in it to keep the shape but when I removed the bag several hours later a lot of it ripped and stayed behind. Do you have any suggestions for separating plastic bag material from the plastidip?
Probably some type of oil or something in the bag to help it not stick to the bag as well. Even if you just take some Vaseline and kind of put it in the bag and rub the back together so I can get extremely oily. I don't remember if Maya came out perfect, I had to do a little cleanup on the net, but I just use that net a few weeks ago out of my float tube and it's still rocks.
It is a solid cooler! We still use it. I have a super heavy rotomolded cooler... but It gets used once a year on real average. This cooler is lighter and more practical. If you prechill a cooler and use it correctly, most will work just find. I still use my 7 and 16 qts too. Perfect for lunch and day trips fishing. Happy Holidays to you!
Shoot, love the man. I've known him since I was 15. He has always been kind to me. So your dad is Carl. Met him as well when he use to go on tour. Awesome meeting you! Your grandfather is about to be 90 in a week or so. Check my about and email me if you like. Nice meeting you.
great video. good instructions. My question, is once you have your cover on and all strapped down and ratchetted tight can you trailer your boat on the interstate without the cover flapping in the wind? Thanks again for a great video
Absolutely. It's not a cheap cover that will flap and tear in the wind. It is tight and protective. No wind noise or anything. The only issue I have is the gap at the motor, but just leave the drain plug out when it is stored outside or you are trailering in the rain.
I'm fortunate enough to have a dedicated Music Room. I do own a Spider 4 half stack, as well as a Line 6 Flextone 2 Head that I still gig live with, and a handful of Tube Amps. I use a Boss ME80 multi effects processor and for smaller gigs, I simply take that and go direct to the PA. That's it! Point is, it's perfect in the setup you describe as well
Good job Brother. I've been playing 45 years. I bought that same CBG awhile back to try something different. I loved it soo much, I started building CBG's! I now sell them at my local Music Store. You just earned a Sub
It's still going. I gave it to a friend though. Once I got more space, bought a bigger boat and then another smaller boat. I still kayak. But not to have the space, don't have to inflate and deflate that boat.
@@jaimeastin thank you so much for your reply!! I bought a mariner 4 this year, I bought the Teolina motor and a 230 amp lipo4 12 volt battery and await 6 panels flexible of 12 volt with 300 watt , totaling 1800 watt to make the roof ot the boat and also got a 12 volt 60 amp solar controller mppt to charge battery . I can come back with photos if you like, although you’ve moved on… presently I wish for Stryker boats, hd series… but i just got this one and plan some mods on it … would you be interested to exchange ideas ? Thank you again! ☺️
It's a solid boat. The only con is packing it away. development a good system to pack and unpack as well as travel. I used a collapsible wagon and it worked great. Also, use a group 24 battery. The weight savings are worth it.
