They have (had) a contract with Anthem Blue Cross in 2015 and violated it, so, Anthem Blue Cross pulls back the money they paid to Eisenhower this year, and I get blamed!!! I get sent to a collection agency and spend at least 6 hours on the phone today for Eisenhower not following their contract. The patient gets the short end of the stick with Eisenhower Medical Center's billing (pt. financial services). You cannot trust them as far as you can throw them!!!!
More headache and heartache from Eisenhower Medical Center's billing dept. (financial services). I receive a collection notice today from a collection agency stating that I am overdue $223.14 supposed owed to Eisenhower. I have absolutely no recollection of this amount, nor ever received any bill for this amount. I look on my insurance's website, and there is no record of this amount. The collection agency states that they have very little info about what this amount is for, but all they have is a supposed date of service. I guess that you are just supposed to pay for something (you don't know what it is) that Eisenhower states that you owe and, also, that you have never been billed for. How unprofessional and unethical!!! Shouldn't Eisenhower billing make sure that a patient owes an amount before they hassle the patient with a collection agency?!!! I guess Eisenhower Medical Center doesn't care about your time and/or headaches!!!!
Patient financial services at Eisenhower Medical Center is a horrific joke!!! They get overpaid by you and your insurance, then lie to you and keep putting you off about getting your hard earned money back which they are overpaid. They tell you "The check's in the mail" when it is not. Never trust them with any of your finances!!!
Eisenhower Medical Center's patient financial services department is completely unprofessional!! They receive an overpayment between you and your insurance and jerk you around endlessly about getting your hard earned money back which is legally and morally owed to you - they are overpaid and do everything they can to keep holding onto your money. Do not trust Eisenhower Medical Center in any manner, shape or form when it comes to your finances!!!
