The Zergling and Hydralisk have always had really inconsistent designs, even within just the first game as it shipped. The remaster consolidates the sprite, portrait, and cinematic art for each into one design, and ends up totally perfecting both units.
as some one who just started playing the Remaster version, i can tell you right away. COMPLEXITY. The game demands you to be a pilot to defend and to be a commander in RTS mode. Meanwhile a single easy AI can send scavengers directly to all biometal sources and build multiple buildings at once. Meanwhile you as a new player are still getting the hang of the map. dont get me wrong, the game is awesome, and i do wish there was a newer sequel.
man how on earth do you add units and buildings like that? when i made custom maps they dont seem to show up and just go with the default command center and 4 MCV's
