I just got my Class A CDL in Minnesota after failing 2 times. This video is to thanks, the consistent vocabulary and verbiage is key to the pretrip and most videos online have no consistency. The first 2 tests I was stumbling over my words after weeks of studying. I watched your videos for one day and passed. Thank you sir.
He said steering linkage instead of saying pitman arm drag link and tie rod. Also he didn’t not say how or if he would check tread depth with a tread depth gauge. He also called the brake shoe linings brake pads he also didn’t mentioned that the u joints on the steering shaft was free of play there was a few other things but not bad

Had a question, hopefully taking the CDL test within 2 weeks from now. But you separated them into 3 videos? I heard when i take the test they can either tell me to do Form A,B,C or would I have to do all of them. I do know you have to do the Air Brakes and the 5 wheel/coupling no matter what? Thank you.
@@danielcisneros9782 that's what's up! Congrats. Yeah that's true though, not many companies here hiring new guys either. I work for my states DOT so I'm required to get my CDL, no tractor trailer just truck and trailer

Yea man, I actually didn’t think they were gonna even get to me, I was literally one of the last guys to take it, I thought they were gonna cancel me but luckily not man, if you go, just see what they have everyone do, analyze it but keep your cool, a couple other dudes got irritated because they couldn’t get their trailers in so that caused them to mess up a lot and fail, just think that if you go in too deep or not deep enough, and you need to use your pull ups, then it’s better to just do the pull up all the way and start all over you know? Make the best of your pull ups and get out and looks.
