My dad has a similar way of speaking English, like M. Anthony, my father grew up in Spanish Harlem. So I'd assume he spoke Spanish initially and as he got older and started going to school, he certainly spoke English. So, Spanish at home or with friends and English outside the home. Growing up bilingual with a NYC accent rooted from El Barrio. It has a unique sound and rhythm. Same way someone from Brooklyn has a different accent. Funny thing is, my dad is 10 years older than Marc Anthony, but ONLY talks this way with family and friends. However, professionally he sounds completely different.

PS: Jennifer is not the smartest woman in the world,but she still got some intelligence so she would not risk to say something like that.Marc too long continuously supported her in the media, explaining what an incredible singer,woman,mother etc she is (which he does for everyone who loves),so it would be very bad publicity for her.Considering that Marc refuses public battles (which she tried to start up),she probably just would not risk to look cheap and pathetic.I still have a hope.I like her.
Jennifer never said that he is controlling! I'm a fan of Marc, and he very long time continuously urging fans to support Jennifer, so I'm used to watch her. Now not so much. Of course,she make a very poor first interview after split, but even in that, she never said that he is controlling! Marc was never ever discussed in the media negatively Jennifer. Even in the interview after the breakup. If she ever say anything like what you say, she will be the most pathetic excuse for a human being!
My conclusion is not based on rumor. Where did you get that? It's based on what Jennifer said. Maybe she is lying, but I doubt it. What you have seen personally is likely no more reliable than what I have seen personally.

You were not made a fly girl for not being able to dance, you were not put in Selena, Out of Sight, and so many more films if you cannot act, and no one would back you for records if you couldn't sing. You want to minimize JLO but she always overcomes. She has never said anything bad about Marc and she has always kept the struggles in her relationships private. She worked very hard to keep her relationship with Marc friendly and respectful for the children. Jennifer's first post-divorce interview could have made things very ugly and clearly singh of a scandal if Marc's first post-divorce interview hadn't ended all that. These are the facts. Everything that I have read or seen, but I have not seen everything, has kept everything very private and she is known for staying friends with ex's, besides the first one who wanted to put out some tell all book or movie. I have heard that he is controlling and that he cheated, but those are just things people say. I like to just say we do not know what went on, only the two of them do. I just have never seen her say anything negative about Marc, she did say working with him on the Spanish album that never was put out did help them become better friends again and heal old wounds, but that does not mean anything negative just that it helped things.

What you say is almost true for the U.S.. For the rest of the world is not the case. The truth is that Marc Anthony was a highly respected musician long before Jennifer and continues to be. Jennifer has always been respected primarily because of her ambition. And that fact that she is a very good business woman and knows how to sell her products. There is a difference and it is huge.

There have been so many things said about her voice. Yes, her voice is not as good as Marc's and they sing very differently but she does sing well and can sing. In 1997, they called him the new king of salsa! At that time, Jennifer still is dreaming of singing.
