REOS Railway is the channel of REOS Beeldprodukties, a Dutch based video production company making Railway video's, mainly Swiss, and some Dutch, German and Great Britain. The channel holds all the films of the DVD's that REOS has produced since the year 2000, in SD.
I have begun to remaster old SD films to widescreen and split them into logical episodes.
There is a lot of footage from the BLS- and Gotthardline before the base tunnels were opened, and even before the SBB and Cargo split-up. Loads of superb footage from trains that will never run again! Take your time to watch them and you will enjoy the best and unique footage off trains in Switzerland! Most Gotthard and BLS films are history now!
In February 2018 I have begun filming again, and in October 2018 I got a new 4K Camera!
You were not entirely correct. It might be "goodbye", until the Gotthard base tunnel has a problem and has to be shut down. Then, our great Gotthard rail route comes back to life.
This might be one of my favourite RHB videos out there. Watching the yard crew work while expresses fly by on the mainline is pretty neat. I can’t help but wonder why someone chose to ship that blue car by rail. Surely it can’t be faster or cheaper than driving it their yourself🤷♂️
Born in 1998 in the UK I grew up in the 2000's on my grandads videos of the SBB and BLS in the late 80's early 90's so this is just swiss railways to me.

HLD 55 should be in theory cleared for DB Rbf & ÖBB Vbf which are Hagen Vorhalle Köln Kalk Nord Wien Kledering Bremen Grolland & Gröplingen Mainz Bischofsheim for Frankfurt Stuttgart Kornwestheim Villach Süd & Salzburg Gnigl. For the HLD55 seen here, it's headed to Köln Kalk Nord via SFS Koln Aachen by branching off after Koln Ehrenfeld and South Bridge
Thank you very much for the great Pictures. I've driven countless Times over the Gotthard. Just the last few Days before the opening of the Colon, through the Mountains, I went down to Ticino and back a few Times
