Each member of the band already had plenty of prior experience in bands and the biz. If you're lucky enough to hear some tracks of the original Hooters line-up, you won't be disappointed. That band took over Philly like a hurricane. Still, this line-up is what broke them into the big time. They're still playing and touring in 2019. (R.I.P. Bobby and John).

Otto Greenleaf That was actually a quote from one of London's concert arrangers, performers, and one of the people behind the "Band Aid" supergroup, Bob Geldof. He actually opened for them once in Europe in the 2000s.
I was there, it was freaking hot. I'm not sure how we made it through the whole day, but we HAD to see Led Zeppelin (who were TERRIBLE). I saw The Hooters again years later and they remain to this day the best live band I ever saw.
this song has held my heart for a long time, the lyrics are so beautiful, sad, yet hopeful. One of the best things in the whole world is to listen to this album (Lament) on a grey, drizzly day while driving.
