Hey I came from another video of yours to this because you send me the link. Thank you it’s very helpful. Is there another video providing rough estimate of healing for tears in this fat pad or is there a broad range based on the levels of tears? Thank you
Noone is explaining like this. Noone is saying what you're saying. Everyone is like just stretch it. Top 10 stretch this Best stretch. Lady your RU-vid channel is gold and you've gained sup.
Thank you so so much for this comprehensive video! It is the best one that I have found yet! I have super tight calves, and I just started getting symptoms of this tarsal tunnel syndrome, my hamstrings are tight as well so I’m definitely going to try to loosen that up and see what happens! Thank you!!!
Thank you for this information. I'm still a little confused on ripped tendon injections and the overall success that they have with them. I'm getting one this morning in my forearm.
Thank you so much for this video, it was very reassuring! I was in a motorcycle accident and was told I basically suffered 15 years of wear in my knee and would have to take it easy on my running.
My sincere gratitude for this very comprehensive and logical explanation backed with sufficient research. One important factor that is not covered in the video is regarding nutrition that the ligaments (ACL included) require to build themselves up during recovery and physiotherapy phase. I heard that collagen, milk and vitamin D would help. Do you agree with this and can you suggest any nutrition reference that is hopefully backed by some research?
BTW I'm recovering from fractured tibia, partial torn ACL+PCL and partial torn horn meniscus lateral. Underwent surgery to install plate for the tibia one month ago and orthopedic doctor recommended conservative rehab for ACL+PCL+meniscus. My physio sessions went well and ROM is improving. Am hoping to test out the knee once the doctor allows me to apply partial & full body weight in upcoming 1-3 months. Fingers crossed...🤞
Just tore my hamstring and currently in the ER watching this video. Thank you for the information! It makes perfect sense! I will apply this in 3 to 5 days!
Thanks your generosity very much appreciated I wonder some vitamin deficiency prevents muscles from relaxing? Anybody thats here I wish u relief Thanks again lovely lady
Hello doctor . Have you made a video on fat pads? Apparently I have a large tear through my “Hoffas fat pad” . Fortunately no ligaments or meniscus according to MRI. Does hoffas fat pad have similar recover time as meniscus ? I look at these videos because they’re near the same area.
Lovely informative video . I have just broken my right ankle by falling down the stairs. Doctor is waiting for swelling to subside before the surgery. Will need plates & screw. One moment of carelessness & life goes topsy turvy
I have a [self-diagnosed] lateral meniscal tear in my right knee, caused by a fall in a narrow passageway wherein I tried to catch myself from landing on the floor and so twisted my knee by body position and stiffening my leg in an attempt to save me from a complete fall. Some 10 or 15 years ago I suffered a meniscal tear on the left knee, diagnosed by a doctor at a sports medicine clinic, so I am familiar with how it feels. Recovery the first time took years; this time, it's been a matter of months and the pain has resolved. It may be due to immediate icing and minimized use of the leg in this recent injury, or it's just the mercurial nature of the injuries themselves that makes the difference; who can say. I did try the use of a quality brace (not much help) and a cane (didn't work with how I walk) but ended up using neither. My question is about something unusual I noticed and was hoping you could explain it to me. I don't drive, I live alone, so I walk a lot and rely on public transportation, but with this injury found I needed minimal time on my injured knee to be comfortable. This reduced me to frequenting a neighborhood deli to pick up food and ice. What I found was that carrying a 7-lb bag of ice gripped in my right hand seemed to both strengthen my injured right knee and reduce the pain of walking considerably. Can you explain why this happened? Logic would argue that adding extra weight in alignment with an injured joint would cause MORE pain as well as greater instability, but the exact opposite is what consistently occurred.
you say run/walk. The only time it hurts in groin is when I start for about 20 seconds the rest of the time i can run as fast as i want. So if i stop and start a lot it really aggravates the injury. Better just to keep running

Thank you for ghis information.. if i put my fingers onto the lateral side of my glut maximus and lift my leg i feel a lot of movement (tendon-like creaking over bone) on the painful hip (not on the painfree hip)what is that?
6 months on the wagon train for the lion kingdom. Lately noticed the insertion point starts out painful but the pain goes away after running a mile. Wasn't sure if the neurons were shutting down or if mobilizing it was beneficial.
Really suffered badly from GT when I was recuperating from my hip replacements (very lucky, at age 76, I had both in 2022, Feb and Nov). When I'd resumed the ability to walk again without aids, walkers, canes etc..., I suffered with really bad GT after about only 100 yards. Much to my Border Collie's much chagrin, I had to turn around and wimp my way back to the car. A regular gym goer, I resumed elliptical machine use to strengthen my quads. The flesh was virtually hanging down from lack of muscle use, but weeks of this gave me back my strong thighs. But during a short walk recently, I developed GT (thank you Maryke, I now know what it is), so I resolved to do more walking to see if I could work/walk this condition away. Regular treadmill use now after my elliptical exercise has resolved the issue. Great video.
I found this very useful and informative. Thanks Also, I have had the good fortune of being treated by sevaral physio and rehab people from SA and they have been great. Your training over there must be awesome. It stands out here in New Zealand
I have watched dozens of videos about plantar fasciitis, and none of the ones I have watched have explained it as well as you have. You are creative, and I thank you very much. 🥰
Coach, I had gotten hurt in my left lower back 2 years ago, shortly after which my right knee started paining, i went to a pt immediately but he said its nothing, gave me a couple of stretches. As days went on, the knee pain got so bad especially while i woke up in the morning, it was unbearable. Slowly with some exercises it got better. Been more than 2 years, I have had this pain. This one time i experienced after 1 month of regular good PT that my pain had almost gone while squatting and alignment of knees seeemed better but after a month ( i wasnt exercising for that anymore just normally going to gym) it came back and the pain is the same now. I also think I have a slight tilt in my body, the jeans that i wear always align to the left side. Im just 23, not being able to workout, go to the gym, dance skate,it just hurts me so much! I dont know what to do. Im gaining weight and thats messing with my confidence too. Whichever Pt i go to,mostly cant disganose the issue and mints so much money out of me that I dont have. Please help me out with this issue!! Im not sure if its patellar tracking ( my knees are bent inwards) or this.. will this ever get better

Currently have marrow edema in the proximal tibia shaft because of a couple muscle strains. If I can tolerate the pain, can I continue to do high impact activities such as running? Or will it worsen the injury?
I'm a weightlifter. I got a cramp in my back leg while doing the dips. My pain got worse and worse. I had to take a break from squat-style exercises for 1 week. It was better, but when I started doing leg movements, my pain increased again. Is it okay for me to do deadlift-style movements during this process?
I just got my results from my MRI with a tear and I’ve iced it and rested it. It has helped because I went into physical therapy to soon and my knee got so sore I couldn’t hardly walk. So I stopped and now after 4 weeks of rest, ice several times a day I’m moving it with no pain. Even went downstairs one leg at a time. I’m scared of hurting it since I have a trip in a week so just doing leg lifts and moving up and down in bed. This video really helped me.
Broke my 2nd metatarsal 4/12/24. Been begging my doctor for stretches or physical therapy and other healing tips. He just shrugs when I ask him anything about anything. Timeline? Shrug. Tips conducive to healing? Shrug. I’m still in a lot of pain? Shrug. He injected me against my will with some random shit. Didn’t tel me ANYHING about the chemical, just injected it against my consent. Now I’m throwing up. Maybe it’s not related, maybe it is. I literally just want to get better. Doctor told me I am too young for physical therapy at age 27
