The second case study really resonates with me. Ive had tinnitus for 7 months, and all of a sudden just got sooo much worse this weekend and wayy more reactive. Pretty much 50 percent of all sounds affect it to a ridiculous degree. I have hearing loss from a long term treatment of anti biotics, high pitched hearing loss. I was coping well before with hearing aids, but now...its literally suicidal. Im completely panicking and bawling crying multiple times a day. Its so reactive now. 0 percent chance i can live like this forever. I guess i have to start meditating or whatever, FML.
This is so amazing to me. I found your video while looking for help with neural circuit dizziness and I'm so encouraged as it seems like both can be fixed with the same processes. Have yet to see if that is true. 😁 I've certainly been negative about both. Thanks, Lynn
I have uniliteral tinnitus in left ear since like 5 year before . I have never done any study although it annoys me a lot. I have noticed that it increases a lot when i move my head down for example? …what could be the reason ? Anyone experimented the same?
My tinitus began early this year. So far coping but mine varies greatly in volume . Fortunately I am retired and my case intensity from listening to other seems about a 3-4. I found that taking .5 mg alprazolam and playing sound of night time crickets audio really helped my sleep quality and I usually have low intensity when I wake but usually it ramps up During the day. Good luck to all suffering this disruptive condition out there.
We are still waiting for the final results to be released. You can find one of the latest Q&A's with Dr. Susan Shore here: www.tinnitushub.com/dr-susan-shore-auricle-questions-answers/
I had some ear wax, went to the doctor, he tried and some nurses tried gently but a little piece was stubborn. A new young doctr tried with cold water and extra pressure. He ended pulling the wax and a good portion of my ear drum. They gave me ear drops that seems to make things worse. They have repeated ciprofloxacin the drops and what i thought was infection may have been hyperacussis. I have repeated seen the doctors and ent. None mentioned hyperacussis. I have resorted to wearing ear cuffs. They give relief , the ear fullness is from hyperacussis and not the antibiotics. It seems the ear drop is the contributor or a side effect that cauaes this phenomenon. All the specialists, doctors have not helped and the youtube gives me right answers. But i still have to see the ENT specialist due to the hole in the ear drum. Very frusterating and contributing to my stress.
Indeed, Tinnitus takes away the ability to enjoy my guitar playing at times. I have it regularly, but thank God there are some intervals here and there and I can play during those times. Never realized it was so common
I have been experiencing tinnitus since 2017, and it has been a persistent issue for me. Despite researching extensively and seeking treatments such as ear physiotherapy for two years, I have found no definitive cure for this condition. Tinnitus, characterized by a constant ringing or buzzing in the ears, has significantly impacted my daily life. On the fifth day of the new therapy, I am hopeful that this will provide relief and finally resolve my tinnitus.
Since experiencing tinnitus (which began in March 2024), the only sound that works for me is the sound of crickets. My favorite is ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gJJxhv69hBM.htmlsi=M-PuIjfol8VutiqL. This one masks my tinnitus so well.
I was unable to hear #1 at the highest volume on my phone. I thought the video was not working. It took me three passes before I realized that my tinnitus must be the same sound as the tone and is louder than the highest volume on my phone. Had tinnitus since childhood - 24/7 for the last 15 years. It’s getting louder. No specialist has ever able been able to help. Hard to imagine never experiencing silence again.
Mine is the 9th one without the pullsing. Low static. Got it a few days ago but I'm well informed on tinnitus since my girlfriend developed it a while ago. She did so cause of an ear infection but her hearing is fine. Mine is only in one ear and that ear isn't fine haha. The hearing there is muffed. I'll see a doctor soon, but my guess is allergies. I'm very, very sensible to allergies and lately I've been exposed to way too much pollen and dust, my two biggest triggers. The tinnitus itself doesn't bother me that much, what does is my hearing in my left ear being muffed. Hopefully it goes away soon.
Just some advice, if you're just starting to experience some tinnitus, do NOT read any comments any videos or anything. It will scare the shit out of you. Just relax and let yourself heal.
As soon as I forget about the ringing it stops, but I can never not stop forgetting it. As soon as I forget it and it no longer rings like an hour later my thoughts forcefully remind me that "OH my ears were ringing" and then burst out ringing again all day and it doesn't go away unless something louder is going on around me. I've only been trying this video sound for about 5 minutes but it doesn't feel like it's reducing the ringing. It feels more like the ringing in my ears get agitated and try ringing louder over the sound.
I have a few insights too. This is my third time, and it comes back with real bad health dips. I have crohns. I really do agree. It got better for me before. I KNOW it will again. That makes a lot of the difference. Or makes it at all. Trusting yourself. The stress is worse and anxiety makes it worse. Personal confidence helps. Like living in that energy. So listen. I'm one of those 3 times it's gotten better. Sometimes the brain needs to have space to process too.
Hi there, while we understand that pronouncing the word "tin-ih-tuhs" seems a little strange, there is actually a reasoning for this. In Latin, the ending -ITIS refers to inflammation -- think tendonitis, arthritis, etc. Even though the word tinnitus ends in -ITIS, tinnitus itself is not caused by (or due to) inflammation -- therefore, the ITIS is not pronounced in the same way as conditions that are related to inflammation.
