What happened with them I bought a few from them a couple years ago and they all came in perfect condition in a reasonable time seems to me something changed or I just got very lucky with my 6 figures
Definitely not a prequel situation. Those were good since The Phantom Menace. Everyone wanted to see young Obi-Wan. Everyone wanted to see little Ani. Everyone wanted to see Darth Maul. No, definitely not comparable.
In general it's because they are interesting. The problem is that unless they are used well, you have screwed up in one of the core rules of storytelling. No sight, sound, character or idea should have you more interested in them than the core story and characters. Boba Fett was done right, WAS. He's cool, you know who he is, what he does and that he does the thing. And then they kill him off. He occupied a space and time that mattered and he served his purpose. What is going on now is too much, hey, what's that, what about that, I wonder about that. The story isn't compact and sculpted and on a path. That doesn't mean that you can't follow a thread, but that thread has to 100% be completed and important enough to follow back to the main route as if you were supposed to follow that detour. You should never be confused as to how you got where you get because you aren't focused on the way you are going.
The comments in this video for the Acolyte are insane. These people are entitled to their opinion, but to say things like it was important "narratively, thematically, and creatively" and that it had nuance is absolutely absurd. It would be extremely challenging for anyone to write a Star Wars story that takes place BBY that doesn't disrupt the lore in someway, however, the writers of The Acolyte couldn't even maintain continuity within their own show. Every character has the emotional maturity and rationale of a toddler, flipping motives on a whim and unable to maintain a cohesive psychological profile. When I critique a story and look at the characters' actions, as a viewer I determine the likelihood of those actions being a believable response, even in the case of a character acting out of character. Ironically the people who say that Star Wars fans only care about action and lightsabers seem to have been successfully distracted by the show's action and lightsabers. Idk I'm stupid in many ways, but thankfully I'm not that type of retarded to think the Acolyte was actually a good show with nuance hahaha
While I agree there are elements I wanted to see developed further, its hilarious how many ppl are now upset, the trolls are gonna be even worse now lol
I don't love it, but I didn't hate it. There were moments of real promise, but it got in it's own way. I feel like the show should be given to someone else and it might work better.
Companies should never make decisions based on X, never. Hey!, you know how you can save the acolyte?, get off X and watch the fuckin show!, you know why the show got cancelled?, nobody really watched the fuckin show! So it goes to show, that the show is ass. So much so that even the supporters aren't watching it and just goes straight to X to defend it, yea news flash that won't save it.
Star Wars is now following the path of Star Trek…cancelling content to appease the “anti-woke” trolls. They spend their lives whining on the internet about any show without a 100% white male cast but never actually support the franchises that give them what they supposedly want. Cool, I hope Disney follows up with “Star Wars: Caucasians” just to see how little this crowd actually cares.
The question is was it popular enough for a second season? If not enough people love it and it doesnt make enough profit, no second season; simple. Its just about taste; ex: i hated the last airbender live action but my older brother loved it
The only thing I've liked about this entire thing is Tim. Him comforting Damian, trying to keep Bruce on his own moral line, and being the one to call Bruce home is the best Tim content we've had in a long while.
That’s a good point. But I’m sure “they” will gloss over this fact or Bruce will have been able to figure it out and “takes” the hand to honor the clone.
The issue with cloned hands like this is that the genetic flaw which speeds up the life cycle of the creature remains and thus will still kill the hand early.
I collect the Batman Animated line , I have the Jokermobile and the bike but believe it or not I passed on the Batmobile mainly because of the price, plus I am running out of space for a big vehicle like this Batmobile. 💪🤔

I totally forgot that the Ecto-1 had the claw and when you moved the tail pipe it was like it unlocked a dormant part of my brain, lol! I've gotta go search my parent's attic to find my OG firehouse!! My Kenner retro recreation figures are safely boxed up for a future display of some sort. Great video!

you have to remember, Mondo is a smaller company and they do a limited run on their toys. they go off the made-to-order model so depending on the preorder that's how many they will make. Mondo says this will be the only way to get the ghosts we've been wanting since 86 as toys, and they will make all the ghosts from the cartoon. i know many people just want the 4 main busters, but EVERY OTHER COMPANY does that. we never get ghosts in a Ghostbusters toy line. and we desperately need ghosts. i don't want 45 different repaints of the boys in stupid-themed deco like the Kenner Batman collection. i want ghosts to bust.
I love BTAS figures, vehicles. I haven't seen the new Batman series on Amazon well not yet. Was very tempted to purchase the HT Vader. But limited by funds and room lol. Just watched the replay, great stream. 🙂
i tried to do a chargeback on a pre-order with them, Chase bank, and they declined to chargeback due to time lapse. For a pre-order i paid for almost 2 years ago.
You’re right it is pretty cool we can get our old toys back without having to break the bank, when I saw you open it, still hurt thought not as much knowing its new version haha
