Bachscholar at 1:30, quote: « …that would be the single bat theory, that’s too fast». Single beat theory? Theory? No, we are so lucky that we know the composers MM, and then it is not a theory, 132 is the reality. 6:35 «…because they were limited by this mechanical device». No, that claim is not correct. That’s one of the geniuses of the metronome, despite its modest size, true to a pendulum, you can set the exact tempo, no matter how fast or slow the tempo should be. Also when it comes o this exercise, it is easy to find children, younger than 10 years, who play the piece t a brisk tempo, some are probably near single beat tempo. For the sake of the children, I do not rank them. It is interesting to compare Chanya Bayla 4 and 5 years old. We hear a clear increase in pace. With the same progression she will be able to play in single beat at 7 years old. Here is the list: Burgmuller op 100 no 6 progress, Little piano Burgmuller - Etude op 100 no 6 progress, An Dao Music. You guys keep listening to the so called experts, keep eating the food peramid and see that 7 out of 10 Americans are obese in this country, corruption is everywhere, greed is everywhere, it's all about the money anymore, so sad!
Lovely Cory. This tempo is to me perfection. These inventions take on an entirely new essence played this way. I've learned Invention 1, and hearing you play these recent renditions of no 4 and no 2 is inspiring me to conibtue learning them all.
Its not about weightloss.. its about reducing immflamation and hormone imbalances etc. It doesn't nske you just lose weight it helps your body composition. Its not like your whole life has to become about your diet. The reason carnivore had become so pushed is that the mainstream has tried to convince us that meat is carcinogenic. Its the pushback that naturally arises in humans. If you are specifically referencing carnivore you tubers, .... of course they will keep turning out content because this is how they make money. Its called Niche. Maybe if you felt isolated its because you were isolating yourself. You chose all of this. You could stop looking at the influencers.. Take some responsibility for yourself. You are a grown man
But most carnivores make it out to be all about weight. For example, on a large carnivore FB group that I follow, 90% of all posts are something to the effect of "I did carnivore for a month and only lost 2 pounds" or "I did carnivore for three months and lost 20 pounds". All they talk about is weight loss. It's like some kind of weight loss cult.
First off, use 2323 for the RH and 2121 for the LH. If you aren't using these fingers then you will never get it right. Next, start the trills ON the main note and not the upper note. Next, practice strict 32nd notes for the trills, which is all they really are.
Merci Bachscholar. My piano teacher ordered several copies of your book when she saw it and we are using it extensively. Who knew that it could be a new Method Book?
This is a wonderful version of this song... i just actually found out about this song today because my dad got me an old vinyl of scott joplin songs from an antique store in wisconsin... i got it because i watched their pets when they went camping up there... for about a week... not too long... anyhoops, wonderful piano of a wonderful ragtime piece... or is it peace??!! Just kidding... i sincerely hope evrryone has a stupendous eest of your day.. toodles and take care everybody
All your organs and cells run on glucose. Your cellwall doorways open with glucose and insulin. So if there is no glucose the cells dont open and you get zero nutrients. Its biology not an opinion
I was playing the piano at a party and a lady asked me to play, ahem, "I'm always chasing rainbows" - I asked her to hum it and it was the slow section of this piece. I had to stifle a laugh by pretending I was coughing 😅
I am using a book that I purchased via a very large music store and it is edited by Willard Palmer. His articulations are a bit different than what you are playing. What edition are you using and is the one you are playing the one that is most widely used? I am a clarinet player and I know that there are many different editors out there. On clarinet there is usually one that is more widely used. I would assume piano would be the same.
I don't know if there is one widely used edition for these pieces. I have used the Schirmer edition for many years. It is edited with many phrase lines and articulations, which are in good taste. I generally stay away from Alfred Editions. In my opinion they are poorly edited and they have many errors.
There are dozens of independent lines of archeological and biological evidence that firmly position humans as carnivores during our evolutionary period. The gatherer part of the “hunter gatherer” trope originates from after the last megafauna extinction 15k years ago (largely due to human hunting). It was at this stage we began eating everything, culminating in agriculture, *but the human genome hasn’t changed to conform to this omnivorous diet - hasn’t been long enough for that*. This is why reverting to meat only seems to have an almost miraculous effect on disease reversal. It’s important to fully investigate, and then either accept or reject the above claim. For an intelligent mind operating on logic and evidence, it is impossible to reject. I would love if this wasn’t true so I convince myself I actually need the object of my addiction. Cult or not, wether some dude is wearing at shirt or not, is totally irrelevant to me. I care about what is true and what will decline the most net benefit over a lifetime.
What if there was no "evolutionary period"? Why must our diet depend upon whether we evolved or not? I do not believe we evolved in the Darwinian sense, but that we were created by God. Assuming that we "evolved" as a species is one of the biggest mistakes of the carnivore movement. Evolution has never been proven. In fact, it is a ridiculous assumption. But all this has nothing to do with whether meat is good for you or not. I do happen to believe meat is good for you.
