This is an app on my phone called Harry's Lap Timer. You can use the phone camera or sync it with external cams like GoPro. You don't have to use a camera either and could just use the timing function. The main difference between Intermediate and Advanced is track awareness and experience. You should be very comfortable on the track and know what to do in any scenario. They allow passing in more places as well.
qspec Thanks! I certainly have some things to improve on. I had a small boost leak that day so I wasn’t pushing it down the straights. I have a small CBRD turbo, Ohlins, etc. Do you get to Pocono?
@@steinvb12 Very nice. No, I'm out here in southeast Texas. I'm actually looking at getting my Evo X into rally racing but am looking at what all other people are doing. Love Pocono, though, from watching NASCAR growing up. Legendary track.
Don't buy any Braille Micro Lite series battery unless you want to burn your money or catch your car on fire! Mine spontaneously combusted in my trunk while it was in its box and I was driving! Thankfully I was able to put it out before I got totally burned! And I did get burned and Lithium burns hurt bad!!! Now I have $3000 in Braille Paperweights and a burnt car! Thanks Braille!
Nice videos. I think we were in the same group. I ran the 2 afternoon sessions on the 7th, and the 2 morning sessions on the 8th. HPDE 2/3 on the 7th. HPDE 3/4 on the 8th
johnvx2100 BC Coils are a good street coilover with a good ride. If you do mostly street driving, then these will be fine. But if you want to do more competitive events, then you might want to look into something a bit better like Ohlins.
No I would love to go tho hit me up on email if you are going to any apcmag@usa.com yea man I did not know there was an autocross event in a town. Iam just now starting to mod my evo now.my frist mod will be tomei cat back and test pipe it should be done in a few weeks I can't wait.
Yes, the video is from my phone. You can also use GoPro video if you have one of the models that supports Wifi. Then you can use the data overlay from the phone with the video from the GoPro. Harry's is a really nice app.
I use Harry's Lap Timer app on my phone. Then I add a Bluetooth OBDII unit which syncs with the Lap Timer app. It's all actually very easy. The Lap Timer app recognizes the OBDII is connected and overlays the data immediately. As long as you use one of the supported OBDII units.
Nice battery, but i would rather pay 1k for a personal trainer to make me lose 28lbs so it'd be like two birds with one stone... OH SNAPP!!! cool battery though, if i won the lotto or a huge business, id buy it for shts and giggles lol
The benefit now is that Braille now offers the 6.6 pound GreenLite GU1R lithium battery for nearly 1/4 of the price of the B128L. Granted, the B128L is the spec battery for all of the SuperGT, DTM and Australian V8 Supercars, so it's a lot of battery for that weight!! The GU1R is designed specifically for the Import Tuner market of 4 & 6 cylinder (and small block V8) street & track cars. I even have one in my BMW 540i 6-speed with 4.4 liter V8 since earlier this year and no problems in the Florida summer heat. Great upgrade for the money and will last 3-5 times longer than a lead battery, so it'll pay for itself.
They are a good street coilover with a good ride. If you do mostly street driving with the occasional track day, then these will be fine. Definitely am improvement over springs. I've had them on for 4 years and 25,000 miles with no issues.
man fuck, in this video the blacked out inter cooler in the front really dont stand out but when i see a evo on the street its the first thing i notice, almost blacked out my front end until i forgot i owned a lancer, although i shouldn't be complaining i still have it better than 70% of kids my age (19)
