The TOS kirk enterprise is bigger and better hull. SNW pike Enterprise is like a prototype of final version. Just. As it was in the original series before they changed it look at OG series. 3 big differences is the pylon's small hole.Biggest one is the bridge with that dam window in the submarine Thank you.Just lose power fire , torpedo or whatever and ship is destroyed after the bridge is taken out.
The Enterprise D is beautiful, like an old WWII Iowa Class battleship sitting amongst the modern but bland Arleigh Burke Class or Ticonderoga Class. The Enterprise D may not be the most modern ship in Starfleet, but you wouldn't want to go up against Galaxy Class ship, even the most modern ships would think twice about it.
Like the video... but a couple things. The SNW Enterprise I've heard numbers of between 360m and 440m for length. In comparison the original TOS Enterprise is 289m. Now, I actually like the exterior changes made to the Enterprise, even at the scale shown here, the swept back pylons, the purplish glow from the nacelles, etc.... Only exterior change not a fan of is the bridge window. But I do not like a number of the interior changes. The bridge for example is ginormous in the SNW show, and the engineering I way preferred the TMP version..
We've gone from the size of a battleship to the size of a small island. Mmm.... ST was supposed to be a factual future APART from suspending disbelief for certain things (warp, transporters, phasers) for practical TV budget and story telling reasons. So ST is partially grounded in a future reality. Some don't appreciate this or ignore it. So later we slip into fantasy, magic tech and infinite number, types and sizes of starships. Someone once calculated it would take the resources of planet earth 100 years to just make one starship, so the easy proliferation of hundreds if not thousands all crammed with impossible, often insulting magic tech seems (lets be kind)....very odd indeed.
I like this... you are missing a couple though, the Conestoga, Sarajevo, Freedom classes, plus if you count them the J and Y class freighters. If you are looking at the ships pre series, I suppose that the OV-165 and perhaps Shango X-1 apply. If you were to do one with the fan Romulan Wars ships then also the Pioneer, Einstein, Daedalus, Posiden, and Yorktown classes. Those are regrettably not canon though.
No gend tests with U.S.S enterprise ncc- 1701 vs enterprise j it would not be fight at all enterprise j would say what was that and this keep on going.
It always got me why the TOS navigational deflector is portrayed as Gold in model kits or in these videos. Especially when watching the series it is a dark pink / copper color. Then when the 3ft model was found, I found out how the gold dish concept spread, even tho the 11 ft is not gold.
Do you know where the second safe is in this level? I've been scouring far and wide but I haven't seen it anywhere. I swear I remember finding it as a kid in the mainframe room but it's just not there.
@@brunomgpinto I got a reply from Grasslu00 on one of his videos that you needed BOTH keys to open the safe. Is that true? Man, I absolutely (falsely) remember there being a second safe from when I was in middle school.
@@sithlordmikeyp Yeah I believe you need two safe keys to open the safe. You find a key on one of the guards inside that mainframe room where you take Boris in the first Bunker mission. The other is easy because you find it on one of the guards inside the safe room. So basically, you only need to struggle to get the key in the mainframe room.
the excelsior class enterprise b in generations looked huge but its over 100m shorter than the neo constitution class that doesn't carry the sense of scale,it looks around the 420m mark
the 32nd century ship was a fail, I preferred the Crossfield class prior to the 32nd Century Refit, it was a nice ship, and it did its job, of course lorca was not a really good captain...could have been improved.
Writers for Discovery: "How can we make future starships look even more futury?" "I got it! Detached engines." "Brilliant!" Discovery is awful. Absolutely awful. From the writing, to the starships. And crying... so much stupid crying.
