Hi new subscriber here. I've also just subscribed to Caitríona's channel after watching the video on Facebook. I don't know if you realise that your video is mirrored?
@thesceptic1018 that video is 7yrs old and prices have moved a lot since then and I do agree that it's often better to buy a better quality 2nd hand instrument. Although, some people prefer new and that's where budget comes into play
I love these videos and Mark is an awesome player but I can’t stand Scottish music. That’s me I wish he’d play a variety of styles to show the accordions versatility. A beautiful instrument
You guys website doesn’t work for me but If your selling that Ashbury guitar please let me know I’m looking for that jumbo everywhere with no luck so I know it’s a long shot but I said I’d comment here Incase
pretty cool, but the tone is awful with those strings. nickel flats would be much quieter and add some bottom. from my own experience i do not think the volume would suffer that much.
This reel must be pretty obscure or it goes by another name than just "go on ahead," because I can only find one instance of the same melody anywhere. If y'all have any clue on how to track down Richard's arrangement, please let me know!
I bought my Blue Moon bouzouki from you before Xmas. I fitted a pick up and a bone saddle, together with heavy strings and tuned it to DADGAD and it sounds very much like a Mando-Cello. its a lovely instrument. can highly recommend,
Perfect accordion! I love how most instruments: flutes, strings, drums, etc. have evolved from nature's treasures, but the accordion? Not sure how that one evolved. Would love to know!
