Firstly I would like to thank Sharon, Luke and Will for sharing with us the terrible loss that they have suffered with there loved ones passing. Taking ones own life seems incomprehensible to us all. For some they give no warning signs of there plight, for others there mental health struggles are very apparent. Wedo everything in our power to help them but as Luke alluded to in the video there is no reasoning with them to get the help that can help them. Ironically I sat next to Joey in the north stand when we gained promotion against Wycombe. I personally was in a very dark place having lost my son Jason to cancer on New Year's eve 1998. My life was over without him, however something happened in my life that changed my life. If talking about this helps others I would gladly lend my support at an arranged event. God bless you all. Typing as a mental health social worker, an Oxford United follower and a human being - this is bloody brilliant to see. OUFC is so much more than a football club. It is integral to the community. Much kudos. Exceptional work.
Just a moment to tell Sharon how brave she is being sharing things so early after such a personal tragedy. The Oxford and Abingdon football community are sending their thoughts.
That's a hard hitting story from Will, in conjunction with the others, so sorry for his and everyone's losses, although I am pleased to see mental health getting such a wide coverage this year. Remember to talk 💛
What a wonderful and courageous thin go do talking about your lost ones like that. You are quite right of course, men are notable for not talking, especially about things that really matter. If only they had talked, they might still be with us. God bless.
I reckon the next game, harris, should come on the second half, give other people an opportunity to play, and he will be fresh until the end of the game.
@@Toby_is_cool_lol ◇◇ LOL ...🤣 how can he enter the club if it violates English football regulations? you're funny... you who don't understand football.
I ask the Oxford United club to give playing minutes to Marselino Ferdinand to give Indonesian youth the opportunity to show their skills and yes, we as Indonesian citizens are very confident that Marselino being at Oxford United is the right thing.
