Heheh yeah! Thanks! I will make a video about the patch, in this case it is audio from Nord to Red Pandas, then filtered thru Syntakt, and compressed thru Octa
This is great - something similar to what I’ve been planning to do with my Nord 3P. I bought a foot switch and midihub to try and see if I could switch the tuning of the Nord whilst playing to get more notes/range for more complex melodies but haven’t got around to it yet. I can see that it might be easier to use the Syntakt as the sound source and use the foot switch to change patterns though so might give that a go. A breakdown video would be excellent if you get time 🙏.
This jam is crazy good , I m going to a similar direction , how did you record the sound is straight into the phone/camera .. sorry for the technical question this sound is amazing beautifully textured sounds !
I recorded the final audio to a sound card, I also had the speakers set up, which were recorded through the camera's microphone, so that in a video editing program I was able to synchronize the audio with the video based on waveforms analysis. Thank you for your kind words, this is motivation to work further, I will record more improvisations soon! :)
Any trigging issues? On my pancake kit I’m getting a lot of other zones triggering when hitting the center of the drum like rim etc. curious if had a similar experience
wow! this is like a full music creator in a drum synth... What are the otherequipments around the Nord Drum 3p? what do you they do? and the pedals, seem so cool, what are those pedals exactly ? this is something I really like to get into.. I only played acoustic drums.. but the more I see the Nord Drum the more I feel this is like how t make ful l music redconrs! is both ambient and cinematic somehow... do you use a piano pedal to prolong the sound or what is it you do? thanks for sharing, really harmonic and beautiful!
this is great, have you had any experience in using the new software through Ableton ? I'm currently using the old generation integrated in my Ableton set up. cheers
