I think learning text is very personal and lots of people do it on lots of different ways! Personally I’ll go through the text line by line. Learning a line, then once I feel I’ve got that one down I’ll learn the next then go back and do both sentences together etc! You deffo have to find your groove and work out what works for you! Preparing monologues is a bit more complex and not something I’ll manage in a comment so feel free to dm me on Insta and we can talk about it more!
Hello, My daughter is desperately looking for a "historical contemporary" monologue for a Radium Girls audition. Any suggestions-much appreciated. She is 17 and this is for a High School audition tomorrow!
Do you have any ideas for a 16 year old, I’ve got an online interview for college that I want to attend in September. I have to record my audition and I have no clue what contemporary monologue to choose, I also have to choose one from a play after 1980 if you have any tips I’d be very grateful thank you x
Some schools can be super picky, most that I applied to wanted you to choose a character close to your actual age. For example, one of the characters I chose was 18 and the other was 25, because my playing age is around those boundaries even though I’m 22. I hope this helps! Good luck with your auditions! X
Wow!!! Such stunning vocals you got there! Your voice just drenched my heart; I felt the emotion you were trying to portray through the song. We would love to get you in front of our global audience of music fans. Would you be interested in performing live on Sessions? ❤️❤️❤️
It was a degree course! I’m holding off on saying where since I’ve still got recalls but when it’s all confirmed I’ll 100% do a video on the audition processes! Thank you my love! Xx
