Hi everyone! My name is Elly Kolesar. I have always had a passion for food and cooking. Growing up, I worked at catering companies and bakeries, but decided not to pursue cooking as a full-time job. Now, I work in marketing as my day job and spend my free time in the kitchen.
I started The Powdered Apron to share my recipes and passion for food with all of you! The food you’ll find here is inspired by my family, the people around me, and the places I’ve traveled. I believe the key to cooking is listening to your heart and using ingredients that speak to you.
